The Ring of Void "finally vanished into the void itself" when Lil Cal absorbed its wearer and was banished into the darkness.

yeah I was wondering like, if carapacians are grown in labs...will they die out eventually? I guess the labs on the meteor might still work but they should be pretty damaged... Anyway, for my obvious thing, Ahab, as in "Ahab's crosshairs", comes from the character Captain Ahab in the book Moby-Dick Pretty sure carapacians don't age so they would have to die by other means. I mean Slick is like 600+ years old. ( I wonder who the oldest character is in Homestuck, )(IC maybe).
I feel like Roxy's colony had enough carapacians to fill in Cantown.

Wait... carapacians are capable of reproduction? There's a lot of Dersite and Prospitian Can Towners... Does that mean that WV and PM... nlrahtgh Well, in [S] Seer: Descend, Rose reads a passage in a book about stories the carapaces tell their children, so if they are always lab grown, they don't emerge fully grown at least. Possibly, only the soldiers and the bureaucracy were grown in the Veil, not the commons. The distinctive mark being their bar code.

My thoughts are more that the first generation are made in the Veil and subsequent generations are born naturally. That said, then the Humans and Trolls are ectobiologized, they came out as babies, so it's entirely possible the same sort of thing holds true for Carapacians.

Well, the carapaces we see in their tubes in the troll's meteor seemed already full grown. Everything's possible, though imagine having to fend for an army of those mutated super-buff carapaces as babies. The newest Newspost has 413 words. HUUUUUSSSSSIEEEEEE!!!!!!!! Pffff, oh Andrew. It's 414 if you include the [S], and with the 'THANKS FOR PLAYING' in the picture, it would count as 417. Still, Andrew meant to do that, right?

OTIM: The oil on the clown picture here brings to mind a certain other clown with such three distinct lines on his face.

Has Hussie really planned that far ahead at the time of that image? huh.

Has Hussie really planned that far ahead at the time of that image? huh. We don't know how far ahead Hussie plans somethings. Sometimes there just insane coincidences, sometimes intentional and sometimes who knows what?

Well, the newspost seems to imply he has planned the ending since before/right at the beginning of Homestuck so Hussie is probably just insane.

I never realized that Doc Scratch was behind Rose going dark. He gave Jade the idea of telling Rose to ask the cueball about the Horrorterrors.

Well, the newspost seems to imply he has planned the ending since before/right at the beginning of Homestuck so Hussie is probably just insane. Hussie started Homestuck with an idea of what the ending was (I'm assuming that he knew the kids would win and create a universe), but Homestuck changed a lot over time, like the fact that he didn't expect the trolls to end up being as important as they were. As for planning, he's on record as planning a lot of stuff, but also just taking stuff he threw out there and turning it into something bigger than it was ever going to be, as well as just plain coincidences happening.

Caliborn hates the Trolls, yet he gets fused into two of them.

OTIM: The fact that Dave was the one to kill Spades Slick is really appropriate, because Dave is a Hero of Time. Spades Slick has a history of hating clocks and fighting The Felt who had time powers, and eventually it's time that killed him.

Lord English's ultimate weakness was apparently a Welsh sword.

You know how the first thing we learn about Roxy is that she loves wizards?
You know how Hussie told Caliborn that only wizards could make stuff unhappen?
You know how John has retcon powers?
You know how JohnRoxy is endgame?
I JUST NOW put those 4 together.

Calliope's nightmare spiral-that is to say the image of a sun being consumed by a blackhole- is both responsible for Caliborn's rise into power as LE, and his downfall.

Excuse the double post, but it just hit me like a brick that Caliborn is Porky: - Immortal from abusing time travel.
- Personality cult where rank is denoted by [blood] color.
- Never grew up physically or emotionally, despite eons of existence.
- Defeated by being trapped in a confined space.
- Unable to partake in the Ultimate Reward the heroes have spent the entire adventure trying to claim.

GG: WHY IS EVERYONE TREATING ME LIKE SHIT TODAY? GG: WHAT DID I DO TO DESERVE THIS?! uu: YOU WERE. WAIT. WHAT'S THE CONJUGATION ASSOCIATED WITH "HUMAN BIRTH"? uu: IS IT. HUMAN BORTH? uu: YOU WERE HUMAN BORTH.
I just realized the irony of CaliBORN misconjugating "to birth".
