Hey, so... I have no idea if this has been, like, done yet? It could be a completely unoriginal idea, and based on the number of other Minecraft threads in this category I'd actually be surprised if someone hadn't done it already, but... Here's my idea: Minecraft Sburb Adventure map. Like, with it's whole own storyline and shit, that isn't strongly connected to the plot of Homestuck. (Hell, if it's not necessary to read Homestuck before playing, it could even help get new people into the fandom?) That's about as far as I've developed the idea thus far, seeing as I just thought of it in the shower.
Also, we'd need to figure out where this would be built. Java edition or Bedrock edition? I could do either, despite my personal preferences, so feedback from you all is really important.
I would prefer if anyone who wanted to help had a bit of a background in building, but I won't require this, as I know the only way to get better at this sort of thing is to keep doing it. If you have done some building, screenshots would be appreciated, so I know what different skillsets we're working with.
Also, if anyone reading this is familiar with redstone and command blocks, you all are very, *very* welcome to join! It's not just because I'm useless with redstone, I swear.
Okay, that's the end of my little idea rant. If you're even vaguely interested in this, leave a comment with your preferred version, experience, and any other ideas you have. Thanks for reading this!
Alright I'm done now.

My preference lies with the Java edition. Never tried Bedrock, I started playing when Minecraft was in beta as Java-only.
I think you have a neat idea, I'd imagine it could start out by building a neighborhood like John's (or whatever setting you'd want the players to start in), and then setting up chests with starter materials and books or signs with instructions. You could have a book titled "SBURB" or maybe a music disc called SBURB that you need to pop into a music player and then it plays sburban countdown. I think it would be fun to travel around a world defeating monsters and collecting grist, and then building up your house. Then when your house is tall enough, you find a portal to another world or maybe an End or Nether portal, and the adventure continues there as your Land of A and B. Anyway, I've never made an adventure map before but I think this could go in a lot of directions. It's an interesting idea, you should continue it!

Experienced builder, capable redstoner, and java edition veteran here. I'd love to get behind the idea of a Homestuck themed adveture and donate some of my time to its completion. You didn't mention an actual idea for what sort of adventure could take place; Do you have one? There are a few pretty good Homestuck adventure maps out there already. Most notably Sburbcraft. Do you know what direction you'd like to take the gameplay, and how to make it unique from others? If not, it would benefit you to answer those questions before moving too much further. Going into a project without well-defining it from the start is a recipe for disappointment.
