Now, I really wanna know what famous people are Homestucks.
I know obviously Dante Basco is, but the only other one I know is PewDiePie. Simply googling "Pewdiepie homestuck" makes a video show up called "I WARNED YOU ABOUT STAIRS BRO" with Hella Jeff in the thumbnail. Keep in mind he'll never reveal this right now as he is much bigger than in 2012 and knows what'll piss people off.
Do YOU know any famous Homestucks?

Ugh, I'd rather not have Homestuck associated with PewDiePie. Fortunately, I feel like he just likes SBaHJ and isn't aware of its connection to Homestuck, because there are people like like that for some reason.

Whaaat? I don't regularly watch PewDiePie, but I don't think he's bad. He's famous for a reason, but I get what you're saying.
I think it's unlikely that he just knows SBaHJ, unfortunately I have met those people but they are mostly morons and I don't think he's that dumb.

To me PewDiePie is the worst Let's Player on YouTube; his is the only channel on YouTube where I can't even make it through a single episode before just finding it too stupid and annoying to go on. But different people have different tastes, so I guess I respect your oppinion if you think he's not too bad.
In any case, maybe he's smart enough to know about their connection, but he doesn't really seem the type to be interested in Homestuck while he does seem the type to be interested in SBaHJ.

I don't know, I'm not arguing here, I just want to chat.
Surprisingly, the people I expect least to be Homestucks are Homestucks. (and the opposite applies, too)
Example - "woah, this guy likes webcomics! he should be a homestuck." (he's not)
(not an actual example)

Do YOU know any famous Homestucks? Bryan Lee O'Malley, Grey DeLisle, Rosario Dawson, and Snoop Dogg are the ones that immediately come to my mind as the most famous Homestucks (or at the very least aware of Homestuck), other than Dante Basco.

Honestly I don't blame people for running away from homestucks when they yell 'HOMESTUCK'. We are really cringe-worthy a lot of the time.
Go watch some shit on YT like "homestuck musical.LY compilations" they are horrible. somehow they're even worse than "homestuck cringe compilations" even though cringe comps deliberately pick out the worst ones.

Eh, every significantly large fandom has its cringy side; Homestuck's hardly alone in that.

I know, for example SU and Sonic fandom is more cringy than Homestuck. I don't consider myself a "super-fan" of SU as I do of Homestuck (I literally do something HS related every day by going on these forums if you think about it) but I do enjoy it, even though I think it has a large "cringe side"

I think that the Let's Player Cryaotic is (or was) a Homestuck too, I'm not sure.

And talking about Homestucks, why is that our term? You've got Potterheads for Harry Potter, Trekkies for Star Trek, and then Homestucks for...Homestuck.

It's stupid, I wanted us to change it but I don't understand why we're just Homestucks. That's like "I'm a Harry Potter, Rick and Morty! I'm also a Star Wars!" like wtf

If I recall correctly, what I was told a while back was that the idea was we're so obsessed with Homestuck that we become Homestuck. Kind of stupid, especially considering it's nothing unique to Homestuck, but there you go.

LordMinion777 and his group of friends use a couple of Homestuck injokes in their videos from time to time, so I'm fairly certain at least some of them have read it.

Groups rareley get to name themselves.
Also, famous indie dev Toby Fox made a couple of what looked like oblong homestuck references in his game. I think he might know.

And talking about Homestucks, why is that our term? You've got Potterheads for Harry Potter, Trekkies for Star Trek, and then Homestucks for...Homestuck. It's hard to come up with a good-sounding name from "Homestuck" that isn't terrifically generic, or already taken. "Homies" is too generic, and "Homers" sounds like baseball. "Stuckers" sounds weird, while "Stuckists" is already a name for an art movement mostly centered in Britain, a reaction against the heavily "conceptual art" museum culture there. AFAICT, Homestuck is hardly alone in this; Pratchett fans are liable to be called Discworlders, even though there's really nothing special about that name either. And, I mean, you have stuff like "Whovian," which is just what. If Homestuck fans could give up their obsession with not calling the game in the comic "Sburb" because Hivebent's version was called Sgrub, we could be called Sburbians or Sburbanites. But that's A Thing within the Homestuck community, so we can't rally around that. (It would even make double plus sense because any time we make up new sessions the only thing they'd have in common is the game Sburb.)

Guys, something insane just happened to me. I don't know where to post this, so I'm doing it here.
Now, I just woke up and in a few minutes I have to go out of my house and then go to school.
If you don't wanna believe me, then it's fine, I'm not forcing you.
I've just had a dream about Homestuck. This was inevitable as I am a huge fan, but this particular dream was like a message sent by Hussie. I walked around and talked with what I thought to be my least favorite character... Vriska. Now, you might not believe me, but anything can happen in a dream. The people outside didn't see her weirdly enough, but I did. She gave me fashion tips and stuff, and she acted like the real deal.
I would've said this is cliche, but redemption-via-dream isn't a thing. I don't know, but now - I don't consider her to be a bad character. I actually really like her now.

I think I read about Clark Gregg (Agent Coulson in the MCU) waiting in line to get things signed by Hussie, once? A brobot cosplayer (iirc) took a picture with him. That'd seem to indicate that he is or was a Homestuck. No idea how reliable that information was, though. :v

Betty Crocker (the actual brand, not the fake person) is also a Homestuck.

We may not have a clear fandom name, but at least we sort of got the suffix -stuck to ourselves. Stick it to anything and there goes the AU. I could make Potatostuck and no one would bat an eye. (although Hamstuck is a thing...) Sure, Undertale has got the -tale or Under- , but a lyricstuck will always be a lyricstuck.
As for famous Homestucks, I don't have any names other than those already said, but I remember a post about Homestuck references in other works and was surprised to see there were quite a lot, even if they were more like easter eggs.
