I just found out that apparently there was a data breach in the web infrastructure company Cloudflare. It has been fixed already, but data like passwords might have leaked between September 2016 and now, February 2017. Unfortunately, Proboards, which hosts these forums, also uses Cloudfare, which means the passwords of our users may also have been compromised. Though the chances are pretty low that your credentials, the person reading this, have been compromised, it's also still possible that data has been cached by search engine bots such as Google. The bottom line is, it's probably best if you change your password on Omegaupdate, just to be safe. And if you use this same password somewhere else (or an old password you used over here a few days/weeks/months ago), it might be a good idea to change it over there as well. You can read more about the problem over here, and find other websites that might have been affected over here or over here. Yours sincerely, Blaperile
