The Clockwork Majyyks of LE and the Handmaid aren't named such because they're Time powers, but because they literally come from Caliborn's Godtier Clock!

Of the 34 players (Alpha Beta Kids, Trolls, Cherubs), Aranea is the only one you never "be".

Cetus is said to have eaten all the fish in Rose's Land. Vriska not only had the same Denizen; her planet was also rich in oceans, so Cetus could have eaten all the aquatic life on LOMAT too. On top of that, Vriska definitely was familiar already with huge monsters with huge appetites, aka Spidermom. ---- I always thought Meulin's MOG was just a funny misspelling by itself, or as a reference to "gog". But I realized, that the acronym, when said out loud, spells "em-oh-gee" - emoji. (╯=^ ^)╯︵ ┻━┻ (Apparently, I was pronouncing "emoji" wrong all along - it's [emodʑi].)

The trolls' forenames and surnames are all six letters long. The comic even points it out here. It's actually rather funny that I didn't notice that, because I managed to spot the pattern in the names of the kids quite easily. It also means that my name is a valid troll name. Yay!

Huh, obvious thing I missed: Stringing "MOG"s back to back does not form "OMG"s. Although I still feel like the "emoji" thing is too subtle to be intentional.

To me, it always brought to mind the terms "mog", "moggy" and "moggie", or Mog the Forgetful Cat. Pardon my ignorance, but do people outside of the UK know what those mean/are, or is it more likely that it's just a coincidence? Additionally, given certain aspects of her relationship with Kurloz, I'd say that "The Forgetful Cat" is actually quite an apt title for Meulin.

Those names don't ring a bell here, for yours truly at least (European). Though it's funny that she could be referencing a UK fictional character, what with Kurloz' subconscious power over her. Also, thinking about her misspelling some more, I wonder if Roxy or Dave would ever (un)intentionally type "momg". Huh, obvious thing I missed: Stringing "MOG"s back to back does not form "OMG"s. Although I still feel like the "emoji" thing is too subtle to be intentional. Well, Andrew might have been playing subtle. Plus, this is Meulin we're talking about - emoji's are already part of her quirk.

Of the 34 players (Alpha Beta Kids, Trolls, Cherubs), Aranea is the only one you never "be". Similarly, Calliope, Dirk and Jake are the only three of the 34 players who never appear in Homosuck, I think.

"Battle Against an Unfathomable Enemy" from Vol 9 is a reference to Earthbound's "Battle Against an Unsettling Opponent".

You also can't do it in the one in A6I4 where Caliborn is smashing the website and Hussie is blaring ElevatorStuck. (That one may be a little more obvious though)

Jackspers Noirlecrow (3-tier prototyped B1 Jack Noir) isn't wearing a Comical Hat. Instead he wears a broken version of the Black Kings crown (he put it on in the last scene of WV: Rise Up). The jester points are just part of the prototyping.

I always thought that the salamanders got John's bed sheet from an Imp that stole and it just got chucked away. Turns out Rose threw it out because John was wasting time making that fort. Also, I didn't know that Bro's note was on the hatch. Last thing was that the random crud in the rocket pack was stuff from his friends (and maybe WV): a cinder block from Dave, a violin from Rose, and a flower pot from Jade (or WV). You could make some kind of shitty metaphor about how the crud represents how his over reliance or something on friends was impeding his own personal growth because you could say that up to that point, quite a few of the things John did, he did because his friends told him to. He equipped hammers to his strife specibus because Dave told him to, Rose was was his server player with all the control that entails and he, fairly reasonably, asked Rose multiple times to deal with the monsters, same with WV being his exile, and Jade had, at that point, some schemey looking thing going on. Or, you know, it could all be bullshit I'm spewing out my ass that got way out of hand because I've been up way too long. Edit: Why go to sleep when I can keep watching Voxu's Let's Read ? I always wondered why WV's drawing of LOHAC had that weird beige stuff around it. Turns out, he used the black gear that was on the motor oil.

A lot of side plots were just shat on by Hussie, and their life energy was used to fuel the endless bullshit plots. One of the abandoned plots is when Kanaya had a crush on Vriska, remember that? And then when Kanaya went bad ass, Vriska was crushing on her.
Also, it makes me sad how he shat on the whole "play the rain" thing. Jaspers gave a touching story about how Rose had to play the rain and he was counting on her. Then Hussie shat on Jaspers, too, and made him Jasprosesprite^2.
Then the sylladex system. I really liked that. I liked the first acts the most due to bullshit like the sylladex but still easy to grasp, unlike the convoluted shit in Act 6.

That seems more like an unpopular opinion about Homestuck than an Obvious Thing.
