There's a noticeably older Vodka Mutini in this panel. How do people even catch stuff like that. Also I'm the 10,000th person to post in this subforum and that's really the only reason this post exists.

The "8" side of Vriska's fluorite octet dice is represented by a hexagon of 7 dots, and an 8th dot off to the side. This matches Virska's eyes where one eye has 7 pupils forming a hexagon and the other has one pupil.

I just realized that this scene is probably the first time WV finally realizes what purpose the ring serves. Previous times he examined the ring, for example when he was stuck in his station, he never thought it was important: And I also only just realized that this final scene, where WV is holding the ring, is also pretty similar to those earlier scenes where WV's holding it in his hand and examining it.

WV's villein outfit already had a sash. It might have been a belt to wear a scabbard on his back: there's a grey thing pointing out behind the outfit of which the shade doesn't match the rest of the poles of the construction. But still.

OTIM: The parallels in the relationship of Vriska with Equius on one hand and Mindfang with Darkleer on the other hand goes further than I realized.
Mindfang saved/protected Darkleer from being killed for his deeds, and he repayed her by fixing his arm. Meanwhile, Equius fixed Vriska's arm, and she repayed him by reviving him as a Sprite.
In both cases, the Serket 'saved' the life of the Zahhak and the Zahhak fixed the Serket's arm, except in the reverse order. And both times, the second action happened to repay for the first one.

OTIM: Just like how Vriska revived Equius to repay him for making her arm, earlier she wanted to revive Aradia to make it up for killing her. What’s more, both of them turned into mixed-race cyborgsprites: - Aradia prototyped herself into the Frogsprite, then Aradiasprite entered her soulbot, designed by Equius per Vriska’s request
- Vriska prototyped Equius, and then Dirk tier-2-prototyped Equiusprite with his human-identifying autoresponder
Note how in both cases, the order of events for prototyping the person/combining the person with the electronics is the same, but not the tier they are protoyped as (1st for Equius, 2nd for Aradia), nor the moment of them becoming-mixed-race. Secondly, both their electronic bodies were damaged: Aradiabot ripped out her own heart, the autoresponder was cracked by Dirk before prototyping. Thirdly, note how Aradia’s revival and physical damage was her own choice and action, Arquius had but to undergo it passively.

OTIM 2: Roxy and Dave both collected dead things.

Sorry for the double post, but it's been a while since. OTIM: Rose learning to "play the rain" was a metaphor for remembering the MEOW code. Actually, that's not what it is. After Rose had already woken up as her dream self and saw the MEOW code, "playing the rain" was still described as something she hadn't done yet: JASPERSPRITE: Oh rose! JASPERSPRITE: Rose did you get to do any of the things that are important to your quest that i said? JASPERSPRITE: Did you learn to play the rain rose? ROSE: Not yet, Jaspers. ROSE: It's a little complicated, but I believe I've embarked on another quest, one which surpasses the scope of the objectives local to this planet. JASPERSPRITE: Meow what ROSE: I'm saying there's something more important to accomplish now. Something more important than creating a universe. JASPERSPRITE: Oh thats ok rose i wouldnt want you to feel obligated to do that. JASPERSPRITE: I think that winning this game and getting the prize is up to you and your friends. JASPERSPRITE: You get to decide whether or not you feel its right to do that and what kind of prize you want to make! JASPERSPRITE: Its part of becoming who youre supposed to become i think. JASPERSPRITE: But i really think you should consider going on the quest i said anyway! ROSE: Why? JASPERSPRITE: Because its not just an important thing to do to win the game. I promise I will consider it seriously then.ROSE: And what should I do in the meantime? ROSE: Should I... ROSE: Should I really work on completing my personal planetary quest? ROSE: But then, ROSE: Why does it sound like such a drag? ROSE: I haven't played the violin in a long time. ROSE: I wonder if I even remember how. ROSE: Honestly I can't recall ever feeling less motivated to satisfy a looming obligation. ROSE: Like consigning personal growth to the completion of a glorified, myth-heavy rat maze. The interesting thing here is, that Rose constantly claims that she "hasn't played the rain yet". Although the meaning of that could be literal, I think it means something more complicated. Various other characters (Jaspers, Roxy, Dave) claim that she might already have done so. Hell, denizen quests are told to be situational, since I doubt that Roxy's actual quest is and always has been 'escape timeline death with John'. It seems oddly specific. I think that Rose might already have played the rain, but in a different way. I have no clue on how she did it, but it would make sense. Probably something involving with overcoming grimdarkness/fully realizing her aspect. I don't think "playing the rain" means it literally. It also doesn't make sense with her aspect if you think about it. Light is about knowledge. The other main quest shown (John), always involved his aspect, even if on paper it isn't obvious (Retconning the oil for example). Rain doesn't even come close to involving light, unless you substitute it for "knowledge". Rose's quest might instead have been "controlling the flow of knowledge". Throughout the comic she is repeatedly shown pulling, sometimes unneeded, information out of other characters (Doc Scratch and the Trolls).. When she godtiers, Rose stops trying to constantly pull information out of others unless actually required. She has learned to play with knowledge so to say. But those are just my two cents on the matter.

I think the carapaces deserve a little more attention. Remember the emblem on the carapaces' banners? It's also on a brooch worn by both kings. And on Derse and Prospit In a few panels I think. Looks like a cross sticking out of the ground. It's actually an algebraic symbol meaning "plus or minus". However, It also has meaning In chess notation. "Plus or minus" In chess lingo Indicates that white has a clear advantage. The Irony lies In the fact that In SBURB, black Is rigged to win via the reckoning, requiring the players to Intervene.

Here's another interesting thing about the carapaces: The B1 Carapaces are the only carapaces to have a major design change in their color scheme. The Troll's carapaces don't change their outfit beyond headgear (doubtable since the only carapace we see in-session aside from Jack is CD), whereas the B2 ones never change due to a lack of prototyping. The default color scheme seems to be gray/black for Dersites and gray/white for Prospitians. The B1 carapaces on the other hand seem to favor yellow, red, green and purple thanks to John's Harlequin prototyping. Additionally, the B2 sessions Derse emblem is Crockercorp's emblem, indicating the takeover by )(IC. In a similar (but more obvious) vein, the pentagon used always has points sticking out of it, matching the order of the prototyping towers on the moons.
