As fan kid sprites go, quite good. barefoot is a nice touch. the mottled green of the hoodie clashes ever so subtly with the taupe of the cargo shorts, marring an otherwise quite synergistic palette - the various shades of green which serve to create a tranquil, almost idyllic feel. the colors of the flowers adds a much needed 'zing' while not 'popping' too much and drawing the eye unnecessarily. the grey line, which we the viewer must assume to be some sort of artifact or other mishap adds a touch of personality - the artist's hand is revealed most glaringly in the mistakes it leaves. however, this small imperfection somehow offsets the subtle imperfections of color tone that bother the viewer's subconscious, that one strip of greyness a story in its own right... there are in fact other subtle imperfections adding to this sense of tonal dissonance - the slightly off white white, the slightly 'off' choice of greens of course it all works in the end due to a slightly off-center center, downward sloping horizon line formed by the tree containing and framing the character and the wistful expression of said sprite leading to an oddly organic and immersive feel. heck, even the off white makes sense when viewed in this context. if you were to use standard white, the entire tone would be lost, and it would become simply another drawing, which surely this is not. no, this is ART.

Is it a bird? Is it a cat? Is it a pumpkin? No, it is the mighty Davepetasprite2! In the midst of gesturing, which surely helps get your message across. It also matches your username, birdcat420. 7/10
All credit for the art must go to intrepidPioneer, the author of the excellent Lucidstuck, whose suggestion thread is now hosted on the Eagle Time forums. This is but a crop of one of over 3500 unique panels.
