High level attacks might be an issue in the future, though. Troot would probably be nicer than this, but at least you didn't go with Harlekindle.

It could have a potato for personality instead of the silly thing we already saw. I am looking for excuses to squeeze Troot in--it's my fav of the three starters. Yeah unless you can use multiple monsters at once or your magic is particularly suited for dealing with Lillithrush running is your best bet
