>Pursue the endangered monster! You check out the details of the poster.
Previously resided in Sundew Swamp. Missing for months. Festival disrupted--monster is crucial for annual celebration! Once located, visit Jackie in Cape Taenarum for reward.
You take it with you to hog the job all to yourself. You know that the Sundew Swamps are north of the Flourishing Fields, so it's probably best to go that way. Is there anything else you want to do before you leave town?

>You should play with your pet to become familiar with him. See if Adorabubbles knows any tricks? Right now, it still seems upset about being woken up. It gives a small warning bite.

Okay hand biting is a pretty cool trick but let's not do that again.

A: What did you call me?! D: It's nothing, take this sandwich. A: This isn't tuna. D: I can't do anything about that. D: Now, hand biting is a pretty cool trick but let's not do that again. D: We should really practice some battle moves before we go out into the wild so just bear with me. D: ADORABUBBLES, use JET!

>OHGOD THE ACID IT STINGS >Stop, drop, and roll >Regret not picking Troot It's okay, it's just some water. You are now SOGGY, which is not a real status effect but it sure feels like it. High level attacks might be an issue in the future, though. Troot would probably be nicer than this, but at least you didn't go with Harlekindle.
Tell ADORABUBBLES about the mission and ask for their input.
D: Okay, OVERLORD ADORABUBBLES! D: This is our first quest. D: We're going to find out what happened to this endangered monster. D: It lives in a swamp. D: Or lived. D: I'm not really sure on that one yet. D: Any ideas? OA: Is the swamp freshwater or saltwater? D: ...does that make a difference? OA: Salt water is cozier. D: I guess we'll figure that out when we get there. OA: Do we know anything else about the monster? OA: You're showing me this sign, but I can't read these silly letters. D: It has something to do with a festival. OA: What element is it? D: Um...it sort of looks like a arthropod type? D: Or maybe electric? OA: I am pretty sure it's electric, and I don't like it. OA: But a quest is a quest. OA: How do we get there? D: We're supposed to walk, unless we get a crazy expensive mountain bike or flying broom. OA: That sucks for you. OA: I can just float in the air. OA: Or sleep. OA: Can I go back to sleep yet? D: No, you're supposed to protect me on the way. D: We have to go through some flower fields to the north. OA: That doesn't sound too bad for the first trip... OA: I guess...

Dawson: Tell Adorabubbles that sometimes the journey beats the destination >If Adorabubbles can float, then surely it can be rode! D: Sometimes it's about the journey, not the destination! D: You and me, on an awesome adventure! D: If you spend it all sleeping, you never know what you will miss out on. D: And that's why we should get closer together. D: Specifically, that's why you should let me ride you during our journey. D: It would be easier for both of us. OA: Oh, sure. OA: You know what? OA: Forget about the fact I am tiny compared to you. OA: Go ahead and try it. OA: Touch my antennae first.
>PET OVERLORD ADORABUBBLES
It doesn't feel pleasant at all. Your hand kind of feels numb now, and your new friend is highly amused. You and OVERLORD ADORABUBBLES will soon begin your journey into the vast unknown--or, at least, through a flower field and a swamp, but we will talk about that later. For now, there's something more important going on!
>Be the other person.
You're in a tough situation. A LILITHRUSH aims to kill you, so it's time to summon a COMPANION to your side. But what sort of creature do you summon?

> Let's go, your relic monster, Religem! You summon the RELIC MONSTER, RELIGEM! This pure ROCK type monster loves to dine on precious stones and jewelry. It spends a lot of time making sure its fur and armor glimmer in sunlight. It might get you out of this pinch!
>LILITHRUSH: USE BOREAS
Of course, LILITHRUSH is quite prepared to deal with a ROCK type. It uses its BOREAS attack and sends an icy wind to strike at RELIGEM.
==>
Thankfully, RELIGEM doesn't end up frozen, but it seems that the two are evenly matched. It's time to make your move before it strikes again!

Anyway I suggest: Romana: Congeal Time. Religem: Cremation.

There's that CRITICAL HIT we needed! SUPER EFFECTIVE.
Of course, you can't let your monster do all the work.

CONGEAL: Remove and prevent all healing effects from target. ==>
Well, crap. So much for a fair fight.

OOC time? I am also a huge fan of Troot. But if Romana had Troot, it wouldn't be the Troot from the start of the game. It could have a potato for personality instead of the silly thing we already saw. I am looking for excuses to squeeze Troot in--it's my fav of the three starters. If life is throwing curve balls at you and you absolutely need some stress relief, then >Be Troot as a last resort. It will appear when the time is ripe. I mean right. Let's pretend it wasn't a plant pun. Here's an apology picture of Troot eating a millipede to tide you over until it appears again:

Yeah unless you can use multiple monsters at once or your magic is particularly suited for dealing with Lillithrush running is your best bet
