So hey, we have a creative works section now; We should probably have a thread for posting what we've drawn, in the hopes that it will inspire and motivate people to do more art stuff.
I guess I'll take initiative and share some junk that I've drawn. So waaaaaaaaaaaaay back in 2007, I had a small cast of characters that I'd made up for a 7 part fantasy epic, based on a super-vivid dream I had in which I created Wes, that back on the forums I reworked into my fan adventure, Yousugo. At this point I was in college, utterly failing to have any motivation to pursue a career in engineering or graphic arts. So I had a lot of time to kill while I was sabotaging my grades enough to be forced to drop out so I could find a career I actually wanted to learn, and I drew this.  I feel that its still one of the best things I've ever drawn and I loved it to pieces. So flash forwards to 2012, I'm feeling in an art rut, so I decide to try and draw something similar since that turned out so well.  Well that turned out quite nicely as well! In part because at this point I was using Sai instead of Open Canvas. I slacked off on drawing again for a while; only drew 10 things all of last year. So I decided I was gonna try and draw more stuff and maybe do some non-lewd stuff that I could actually share.  Probably shouldn't have gone with a black and white character but oh well. :V I had some fun figuring out how to incorporate some stock objects for the background. |

Probably because I just copied the links from FurAffinity and that tends to easily break for people. Changed them to photobucket and added a spoiler since we do in fact have them here.

They are now fixed.
Good art, but I never really liked furry stuff. I guess the snouts are a huge turn off for me, not to mention I don't like animals a whole lot (with the exception of insects and owls)

Some DBZ stuff I drew back in 2011 with colored pencils, but I'm still really proud of them. Also, the first thing I drew when I got my tablet back in November. It's not amazing, but I still think it's cute lol. |

My art skills honestly alternate between "Pretty good!" to "awfUL???" though I gotta admit I love designing characters I might go and make a thread based on character design requests. Those things are part of an RP event that involved my OC earning the ability to make backup bodies made of pancake batter/syrup/butter. She made a jackalope body. Whoops. |

I have recently been improving my drawing skills, so yay. I made the avatar I'm using a while back and I'm still quite content with it, although the facial features are just a teensy bit off. But yesterday I made this: And I can't tell you how happy I am with that picture. It's super basic and sketched, but I'm super pleased with how the anatomy and facial expression turned out. |

If you want to see *eeeeeeeeverything* I've ever done, you can check the deviantart link in my signature. Fair warning, though, a lot of my early stuff isn't that great, and a lot of my more recent actual artwork is mostly just concept art style stuff to get an idea in a semi-visual form. Everything else is likely either a game screenshot or an IRL photograph.... or just a practice piece to keep my skills fresh. So the, I'll just be showing the stuff that isn't concept art or photography stuff then. :33 Anyways, yeah... my deviant art has lots of random stuff on it. ^^; |

Otherwise, awesome art! Keep on it! All of them are shinys, that was the point of it. 9 Shiny Eeveelutions all in a Brady Bunch style collage. The Slyveeon is the top row middle column. I agree that its face came out a little bit weird, though. |

Aaahh. Cool. But yeah, the face did come out a little weird. Maybe it should be a little more rounded. The snout is like 2 pixels too, defining it better would be awesome. I think the face on the one in the center is a good example of what you should do.

For shits and giggles, I decided to do a little drawing different from my traditional 'just draw the parts without guidlines' style. instead I drew the guidlines and hoped for the best. I think I did a decent job considering I drew these on a phone. Two characters from a fanadventure I had on the forums before they went kaput.  Two random people's OCs that I drew as requests on the MSPARP forums.   It should be known that I have no idea how to lighting. Also have no idea how to draw shirts properly... And hopefully the spoilers work. ;.; |
