Man, I really hope this isn't common knowledge or this will be a waste of time lol.
Hi there! I haven't come to this forum in quite a while, since I'm not as big of a homestuck as I used to. Hoewver, today I was in a Homestuck mood and I stumbled upon something I thought maybe someone here might be interested in.
For those of you who have been around for a while, the name "Treestuck" might ring a bell. For those who don't know, Treestuck was a popular homestuck liveblogger who, one day, just... stopped liveblogging without making any post explaining why. Her blog ends abruotly near the beginning of Act 6. This means that, even though I wasn't a fan of her, over the years I've sometimes heard people say stuff like "man, I wonder what happened to Treestuck."
And... I get it. When someone online just disappears like, it often can leave a very sour taste, because it means you'll probably never hear of them again and might never know why they disappeared: one of my favourite livebloggers, Nora, just vanished like that, and it sucked.
Today I visied Tree's blog just for the lols, thinking "hey, maybe they're back for the epiloguies". As you will have noticed if you checked that link to her blog, that is not the case: he last post is still from 5 years ago.
However.
I noticed a link on her blog's sidebar that lead to a post called "Important stuff!", where she explained the basics of who she was and what the blog was about, In that post, she mentions that a friend of her, Corgi, convinced her to liveblog. There was a link to Corgi's blog: sadly, that blog was also abandoned... in 2018. And Corgi's last post contains a link to their new, active blog. And in that blog's sidebar is a link to their Twitter page.
So, I sent them this:
And only 19 minutes later, they answered back:
This is Treestuck's Twitter page, She's active on it.
So! Echoing Dave's words, I'm not sure if this is a mistery a lot of people was actually interested in solving. But I know I've seen at least one or two people mention that they wished Tree just haden't disappeared like that, and I hope this will bring some closure for those folks. I know that I'd be inmensely happy if it truned out that Nora was just chilling on her Twitter page. You all can go follow Tree and support whatever she's doing nowadays! As I mentioned, I'm not sure if this is actually something that everyone knows because I'm not the first user to go Sherlock Holmes on this, but regardless, even if someone else knew, there must be at least some Treestuck fan who didn't know.
So, now you know!
EDIT: Treestruck actually joined in the convo!

@heycorgi um, hi! I'm sorry if this is weird but, there used to be this homestuck liveblogger called treestuck who one day stopped uploading their blog without notice. Tree said in a section of their blog that you asked them to liveblog homestuck: do you know why they stopped?
And only 19 minutes later, they answered back:
Oh hi, no problem! That's my friend @unicorntracks who leads a very hectic life, and to my knowledge she just got busy and fell out of it!
This is Treestuck's Twitter page, She's active on it.

Aw man it wasn't even that exactly. Tumblr updated their coding RIGHT AROUND THE TIME I STOPPED. I tried to find work a rounds for their broken nonsense but I was posting a page and then spending five minutes manually going into the html edit feature trying to make it readable
Bc they updated their coding and broke EVERYTHING. it was so hard to fix what should have been the worlds most simple thing. I couldn't read if I couldn't post and Tumblr made it impossible to post for a while. By the time they FINALLY fixed it - id started getting Really Sick
