Currently watching Dimension W, at Episode 6 currently. The world has a lot of potential, and they expand on it a lot, but I have a feeling like the haven't showed enough of it. The first season apparently only has 12 episodes, so I hope we get to see more.
Considering I'm also working my way though One Piece's Thriller Bark arc, I should be use to slow development, but I guess Dimension W is has such compelling people and places to work with that I can't wait to see the rest!

JoJo no Kimyo na Bouken. Also watched a weird one about cooking called Shokugeki no Souma. It was oddly good.

Been watching a buncha series, as is usual. Some Digimon Savers, Suite Precure, Arakawa Under the Bridge...just started Cowboy Bebop yesterday, pretty good first episode. Looking forward to the rest of that.
Also watching a handful of seasonal anime, Trigger's are probably the ones I like the most so far, off-kilter rape threats in Kiznaiver aside (what the hell even). Kinda gave me flashbacks to when that happened in Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun. That shit was weird...otherwise, both it and Luluco are pretty fun.

I've really stepped up my game this season with the anime, as always I'm neck deep in One Piece, having gotten through everything and now just waiting for more to come out as always, Luluco is really cute and I hate how short each episode is, Kiznaiver is constantly riding the edge of being too edgy/preachy but then it says something legitimately thoughtful and I'm right back to being invested.
The Ace Attorney anime has seriously bad animation quality, but I'd still suggest it to anyone who wants to get a baseline knowledge of the characters, and to top it all off Part 4 of Jojo is amazing as always and I can't wait to see who the big bad of this season is going to end up being, given that thus far it's been very "monster of the week".

Does Tokatsu count? Because Kamen Rider Ghost and Doubutsu Sentai Zyuohger are both FANTASTIC I'd say that's probably better suited for the general media thread, probably? Zyuohger is pretty good, though. On the other hand, my opinion on Ghost varies wildly episode to episode. Amazons is where its at Rider-wise right now. Amazons is fan-friggin-tastic so far. But yeah, probably more suited to general media.

Pretty much everyone agrees that Amazon is super, but I haven't watched it yet (1-hour episodes) Plus I'm too busy finishing up the last KR I need to watch, Kiva, which currently just did a fucking pirouette to full shit territory.

Has anyone ever seen Mirai Nikki? I'm debating whether or not I should watch it, as the premise sounds really interesting, but the reviews on it are very split. People either seem to love it or hate it. And I feel like I kind of trust what the "bad reviews" are saying more, but idk.

All the characters are stupid and nonsensical and the whole thing is a tonal mess. It is one of the worst things I've ever watched and I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy. It's bad. But...as you said, it's divisive. I'm pretty solidly on one side, and I really don't see what people see in it, but I may be biased.

I've been watching Digimon Adventure Tri since I loved Adventure 01. I also watched Ghost in the Shell a few nights ago. Like a cyberpunk anime version of a Noir film. And that's just AWESOME!

I couldn't find it on Crunchyroll/Netflix anyway so I decided to start watching 'K' instead. Liking it so far, it's giving me a lot of DRRR vibes but with supernatural elements and whatnot. I'm 3 episodes in right now and still a little confused about things, but better that than a huge info dump imo. Hoping it will pick up and explain more soon.

Since February, I've pretty much just watched Shoujo, but I'm a little burnt out, so I'm going to give myself a little treat and rewatch my two favorite action anime anime in general, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood and Cowboy Bebop. I haven't seen either in 2+ years, so it'll be fun. And then, I guess, after that, I'll get back to checking out more Shoujo.

FMA:B is my favorite anime too, probably. Havent watched Cowboy Bebop (yet) but I have a feeling I'd like it.
I started watching One-Punch Man yesterday, and I'm liking it so far. Episode 9 is making me emotional.... Saitama is good... And I like Genos a lot too. It's pretty lacking in woman characters though.
Animation is gorgeous too... Except there's too much gore for me but I just try not to look too hard when that happens.

Haven't watched anything extremely recently. Best animes I've watched in the past year or so though were Sound! Euphonium and Gakkou Gurashi/School-Live. Both of them were pretty great stuff, especially the former which is one of my favorites of all-time by now. Very surprised Gakkou Gurashi didn't catch on with the Tumblr crowd though, with some of its.... plot developments. (Go into it as blind as possible, do not look up anything about it before watching, not even an episode description)

Welp, I finished watching K, and thought I would write out my thoughts. (Lengthy spoilers under the cut) I have to say, those last 2 or 3 episodes just did NOT go how I was hoping they would. There were a lot of things left unexplained, but I think my biggest problem with it was that I really liked it up until Shiro "got his memories back." Except they weren't really his memories? Like Shiro wasn't really anyone? He was just the Silver King whose soul was put into the Colorless King's body? Some random teenager's body the Colorless King happened to be using? I don't know, but I felt like they were different people. To me rather than feeling like 'oh! his memories are back! he was the silver king all along!' it felt like he still had a completely different personality than when he was "missing his memories" and living as Shiro.
I don't know, it's hard to explain in words, but it just seemed like they completely threw Shiro's character out the window and replaced him with Adolph, and then tried to play it off by giving him some line like 'you can still call me Isana Yashiro' like they didn't just make him a different person.
I guess I was just hoping that after the reveal it might go something like, the Silver King sacrifices his spirit or something, leaving the original Shiro personality/character/whatever you want to call it behind but inheriting Adolph's powers and becoming the new Silver King. That way he could grow and come into his new role, rather than just 'ta-da! you are now this old wise and powerful king! oh and also you're german'
A couple other issues worth mentioning: The villain, the Colorless King, was defeated far too easily and without us ever really learning ANYTHING about him. Who/what was he? Did he originate in Shiro's body, or was that one he just borrowed like all the others? And if the latter is the case, does that mean that that boy's mind/soul is now fused with Adolph's, or is it gone? But that's going back to the first topic...My other issue was Mikoto's death. What was the point? Was he trying to kill himself with his sword, until the the Blue King intervened? Why kill himself? Did the Blue King kill him because it was more honorable than suicide? I just don't even know what was happening in that scene. ANYWAY. Aside from those last couple episodes I did still enjoy it, and there seems to be a movie and another season in the series - PLUS a third season in production. So I might check those out and see if it gets better or some little things get cleared up (like why the Reds and Blue were fighting, or what the hell those swords are) because I really liked the characters and premise of the show and would like to see those get explored more. Also, Yata is totally going on my imaginary list of anime crushes, haha.

Lately I've mainly been watching Mobile Suit Gundam. Ever since I was young, I've always enjoyed the designs of the Gundams themselves, owning several action figures and gunpla kits, so how it took me so long to actually watch it is a mystery to me. There seems to be a lot of series out there, too, which is honestly a bit intimidating (I'm a bit of a lazy person). But I'm really, really enjoying the first so far (on episode 19 now). The story is really interesting, so I guess if this is the place for that, I highly recommend it. It has somewhat dated animation, though. While I don't mind it in the slightest, it's still probably something I should mention.
Aside from that, I've been avidly watching Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Part 4. It's fantastic so far, and has already established itself as my favorite part of Jojo's (among the first four which I have experienced so far, that is).
