Just out of curisoity, are there any plans to make the cradle a thing again? It's obviously rather early days for Forum Adventures on this forum, but it was a very good system on MSPAF, and there are already a very large amount of adventures on the subforum.

We might as well. I mean the old forums don't look like they're coming back any time soon...

Alright, sounds like a pretty good idea to me as well.
Does anyone happen to have a copy of the old Cradle rules lying around?
I can't seem to find an archived version of them, not through web.archive.org nor through Google's caching it seems.
Or if you don't have a copy of those rules either but do have a pretty good idea what they were you can share them here.
I never had much experience with The Cradle at the old forums so I think it would be helpful if someone can fill me in on all the rules it had, to know how I should organize The Cradle over here.

Seems like the only rule was that you needed 10 decent* updates, not including the beginning post *"decent" is at the discretion of the moderators. Criterion for 'updates that don't count' include (but are not limited to) reposted images, minimal text, or anything else that shows a lack of effort.

I think there's room for memeventures. I mean, Sweet Hella Quest must have gotten out of the cradle in the old forum, and that's like the definition of a memeventure. Just because something is memes doesn't mean it can't have content. Plus, moderator discretion allows for wiggle room with adventures that are clearly "not serious".

A memventure that takes itself at least quasi-seriously should have no worries. Also, should we mayhaps open an Adventure Critique thread? I've noticed people understandably don't seem thrilled at the idea of leaving criticism in the Adventure's proper thread, but it seemed to help new Adventure-runners on the MSPAF get an idea of what to expect from readers.

I don't really think it's necessary, go for it if you wish.
