Hey, would it be possible for you be able to upload this adventure and its backlog to MSPFA? The mirror site is much nicer to read on then Tumblr. The most time-consuming part would probably be reuploading all the images to another host, but i could do that for you if you it was too much hassle.

Hey, would it be possible for you be able to upload this adventure and its backlog to MSPFA? The mirror site is much nicer to read on then Tumblr. The most time-consuming part would probably be reuploading all the images to another host, but i could do that for you if you it was too much hassle. The tumblr is unfortunatley also broken. Currently you can access all the old posts through this zip where I saved the raw HTML from the old thread for backup purposes: HERE - so you can still read them if that's all you want to do- Unfortunatley this is only way to read it right now, since every other option is ridiculously time-consuming (I'm talking maybe 3 whole months of full-time copy-pasting and reuploading over 6000 or so images, formatting the text, and so on) But I'll do it if there's a big enough demand, which right now there isn't. If you want to make a mirror, you can! I'd be grateful! So grateful, in fact, that I don't know how I'd pay you back for the amount of effort it'd take to do it. You'd need to download that zip for reference, either way. I tried to make a mirror a few years ago, but the external image links are (of course) broken, I didn't get out of chapter 1, and I forgot my password eventually ( mspfa.com/?s=13762&p=1)

It's not like there's not ENOUGH problems!K2: It's just...K2: ...BOXES.NG: BOXES???JK: huh?!?!K2: They bring back... MEMORIES.K2: Of that night... 4 years ago.NG: 4 YEARS?!?!K2: Sorry, I mean, last night*.*In canon, it was last night! This thing turns 10 years old today and I last updated it just a little under 2 years ago, in 2019, before I fell off it. But maybe I can dig it up for a bit on its anniversary and talk candidly about it and to mark it in some way. I miss working on it in a lot of ways cause there's so much I still know about this world that hasn't happened yet and may not happen in the exact way as my original plans. As the old MSPA forums went I feel like it lost a lot of views it used to get and I was basically keeping it alive by myself because I still cared a lot about it. This world I created became pretty alive and active and full of its own style and symbolism and I didn't wanna waste it. TEOV is set in the year 2001: ten years back from when I started it, and 20 years back from now. I wanted to do a kind of period piece that also used some of the signatures of webcomics at the time, but recontextualised with the knowledge we had now ("now" being 2011) for example, it's the "2 gamers on a couch" format of early webcomics- it's political, it's set near the turn of the millennium and the bands they listen to are the kinds of bands that were big at the time. I wanted it to speak about politics and more serious subject matter, rather than just being a gag comic. I thought it made it stand out. the politics of TEOV were kind of a lampoon of the things we cared about most at the time: protecting video games from censors like jack thompson- although revisited from a modern lens where it fits into the wider picture of american politics. gamergate happened as I was writing this comic in 2014 and I threw a lot of shade at gamergate, too, by parodying it with the idea of a haphazard movement of gamers that causes more harm than good. whether or not these ideas really landed or were super tasteless... That's what TEOV was all about. Wait, why am I in the past tense?! I don't want to give up on it! ......I was wondering when I started it if it'd last 10 years or not, and I had to mark it in some way. I'd like to do more to this, but maybe it'd work if I went over the plot again and made bits of it better or made it a standard comic. Or continued it but with less time constraints. It's been hard to keep up with and I really only do it for myself. I could've included an update, too, but it was very hard to update this thing and I've been strapped for time. Anyway, if anyone's still reading, hi! Thanks for checking this comic out.
