Yeah, I actually didn't really get the whole "team combo attacks" thing because I was caught up in the spectacle of it all. It'll probably make sense when I go back to watch it again.

I SPENT THE LAST WEEK COMPLAINING THAT HEIR OF GRIEF COULDN'T BE USED BECAUSE IT WAS RELEASED ALREADY Still holding out hope that one of the four is Tensei. Thank you Andrew and Tensei for not caring. I actually teared up when I heard the first few chords of it. |

I think it's safe to say that all of us will be watching that again multiple times. I expect someone to publish a blow-by-blow account, and I intend to have a mental version.
Casey's skeleton army did very little, I am sad. Arquiussprite was in awe of the Dad's strength, that is awesome. PM has both rings now. Caliborn's unconditional immortality is explained... by a game construct I thought was just a symbolic abstraction to visualize the heroic/just/neither determination. Karkat made the first move against LE! With no doubt on his face! And LE just stood there going "what are you doing?", LOL. We interrupt your regularly scheduled fight for cookies. Crowbar just kind of stood back and watched Jake thrash the Felt. Combo fraymotifs! And so much more.

I'm gonna have to watch it again, but did Bec Noir - or not-Bec unprototyped Jack Noir, hehe - really die? If Jade could survive hitting the ground and skidding for like a mile, it seems to me Jack could too. When I rewatch, I'll have to see if un-prototyping Jack let him regain the arm that PM had just cut off, but even if it didn't...

I wouldn't put it past Gamzee to have some weird double-bluff type thing going on. And if the God Tier clock was broken, and that is the reason for him being unkillable, then the God Tier judgement/revival mechanism wouldn't come into play. Possibly he'd just... not die at all? Caliborn holding the crowbar and standing in front of his clock looks like a massive Chekov's Gun waiting for the trigger to be pulled for me, and we do still need explanations for these unconditional immoralities. And perhaps the reason Vriska died is because she was judged a split second before the clock broke? Or because she had died and started to be judged, and then the process was cut short before she could be revived? |

How do we know they're the same clock? Maybe each character has their own. The clock in Scratch's apartment had an 8 ball symbol on it, but the one we saw just now has the time symbol. It could just be we weren't close enough to really see the face and the 8-ball symbol--but it could also be the case that Scratch had Vriska's clock, not Caliborn's.

that had a lot of cool little references and character moments but all and all, not a lot of meaningful stuff happened. i guess i was holding out hope for a twist that never came. i wonder what is gonna come next. i hope the ending is satisfying
