Hi! This is the critique/discussion thread for my webcomic True Colors! True Colors is a coming of age story about the first day at college for four people, and the challenges their identities and friendships face as they begin the next chapter of their lives. Contains mild profanity, mild violence, homophobia, & transphobia. You can start from the beginning here!I had a thread devoted to True Colors at the MSPA Forums ( limited Wayback Machine archive here). It was initially made with the intention of asking for constructive criticisms and artistic feedback when I was starting, but eventually it became more of a discussion thread. Either are fine! I'm always looking to improve Spoilers beyond this point! If you have not read up to Chapter 2 Page 21, go catch up here!

I assume this is in Artbound because this doesn't accept commands?

I assume this is in Artbound because this doesn't accept commands? Nope, no commands... this is more in the style of a traditional webcomic/graphic novel rather than a forum adventure. I mean, you can give commands if you want, but the story is likely going to continue along the same tracks regardless

Yeah, I understand. I don't like taking commands for a story when I have everything plannet out, it just messes everything I want to have set in stone.

Had some technical difficulties with this one (the original file is corrupted so all I have is smaller jpgs -_- ) but managed to it done in time anyway! As such, bear in mind that I had limited ability to edit stuff like backgrounds and lineart past a certain point.

That's the end of Chapter 2, and I have also decided that this is going to be the last time that I post updates in a thread on the MSPA/Omegaupdate Forums now or in the future. The original thread in the old MSPA Forums was mostly intended to get critique and drum up interest, but as it's been several years since then, at this point I think the thread has kind of outlived its usefulness... nobody's commented in quite some time, and it feels a lot like I'm just taking up forum space with shameless advertising. Thank you very very much to anyone who has been keeping up with this thread or the old thread on the MSPA forums! It really means the world to me to have had people joking about and engaging with a story that's so dear to me. That being said, True Colors isn't going anywhere! There's going to be a (hopefully) brief hiatus while I take care of some IRL things (moving, mostly), plan out the upcoming Interlude Kit, and hopefully get my computer fixed so that it's not constantly crashing while I try to make comics... but after that is Interlude Kit! I'm pretty excited about it. The best place to check on updates in the future is the website itself (www.truecolors-comic.com), but there's also a Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/truecolorscomic), a Tumblr (http://truecolors-comic.tumblr.com/) and a Tapastic page (https://tapastic.com/series/True-Colors). The best is yet to come! Thanks for reading

I guess it's time to stop reading it from here and start actually reading it from the webside like every other webcomic I read.
