Woo! Now some notes for next time:
>Might be a personal thing, but Z feels better than X. Maybe have both, so we can pick which to use? >Reading signs is a bit cumbersome. >Where's the music from? Very atmospheric. >Didn't know MSPFA hosted walkarounds! >Sprawling paths make sense for a videogame, but for an interactive story, they're rather frustrating.
Now, for a command:
>Down the vaguely yellow brick road!

Cool! Very simple but I liked it. I would say the 'S' key is more preferable and familiar to use over the 'X' key for controls; and I would have added more to interact with, but overall nice.

Not loading for me either. I tried turning off my flashblock, but there's still nothing there.

Huh, loaded for me just fine. Had to update flash, but still. Also cool walkaround. Not too interesting, but hey, everyone needs to start somewhere right?
Keep an eye on five, as well as your six. That means behind you.

I thought maybe it will load on internet explorer that I used but didn't, so I used Goggle chrome and it also didn't work. Maybe you should upload it on newgrounds perhaps?

Anything can be hosted on MSPFA, as far as I know! .SWFs and .FLAs both work there. Oh dang, you're right about the paths. I dunno, I might fix it in the future or something. (The music is a free track by Maou Damashii. Their work is really good!!)Cool! Very simple but I liked it. I would say the 'S' key is more preferable and familiar to use over the 'X' key for controls; and I would have added more to interact with, but overall nice. I was going to use the arrow keys, but those are also shortcuts on the site :c What do you think about TFGH? (T=UP , F =LEFT, G = DOWN, H = RIGHT) Or WAZD, like badatnames said. I'll change it if it suits people better. Huh, loaded for me just fine. Had to update flash, but still. Also cool walkaround. Not too interesting, but hey, everyone needs to start somewhere right? Keep an eye on five, as well as your six. That means behind you. Yeah, there isn't much mostly because this is just a test. I'm still getting used to flash! ITS HARD IM NEVER TOUCHING FLASH AGAIN jkNot loading for me either. Also, like auto said, maybe your flash needs to be updated? I don't know about newgrounds, but I tried hosting it there too. Here's the link! Let me know if it works.

>Down the vaguely yellow brick road!
After wandering around for a while, you think you've found what's pretty much the only way out of here. It supposedly leads in to "Red Tulip Town", based on what you read on the sign.
The howling is coming from this direction.
You keep walking, but the brick road abruptly ends. Your progress is quickly halted as the howling grows closer A nefarious WILD BEAST lurks deep into the shadows ahead.
Will you confront it?

Well, the newgrounds link works for me. Pretty neat, not much to do but nice music and interesting overall!
>Actually, if we're headed to a place called Red Tulip Town, doubling back to pick up those red tulips you saw earlier might be a good idea. Maybe they'll be important, or you can give them as a gift to the locals or something.

If you want to use different keys entirely, IJKL might work better, since TFGH is awkwardly in the middle of the keyboard. But switching X to Z seems fine too.

Right. You need to be STEALTHY, and avoid any combat if possible. The WILD BEAST keeps roaring, but it doesn't seem to have noticed your presence yet. No!!! What do you think you're trying to do here? What you need is to do is to be stealthy, not have a screaming contest with the BEAST!! You mustn't alert it to your location! Provoking the WILD BEAST is the last thing you want. ->Five kindly lets out a mighty adorable ROAR on your behalf to establish courageousness, and successfully provokes the WILD BEAST. +5000 stupidity points. ->The roaring grows closer as the beast approaches. That was not a good idea.

NINO: Five. NINO: Take the lantern and go hide. FIVE: ! FIVE: but...what about nino? NINO: I'm going to deal with this beast. NINO: You go and hide somewhere in the trees. NINO: I know you want to help, but it's too dangerous for you! FIVE: but... FIVE: will nino...be fine? NINO: Hey, you don't have to worry about me! I'll be fine! NINO: It's just one beast anyways. This'll be a breeze! FIVE: okay... FIVE: but...nino must...be careful! NINO: Of course. NINO: Don't worry, I'll be fine as long as you're safe.
PUNCH STAB WILD BEAST IN SNOUT TO ESTABLISH DOMINANCE
Whoa there, hold your horses! You haven't even ENGAGED the beast in battle yet! But nonetheless, you will prepare your sword by your side for stabbing purposes.
Five takes the lantern and hides.
The area's a bit darker now, but you can still see the beast approaching.
> Just... Prepare to fight.
You ENGAGE the beast in battle.
Once again, the 3 starting options are displayed: COMBAT, DIPLOMACY, and STEALTH.
What will you do?

It's almost common in all laws of videogame nature that most wild beasts will respect you if you can show your dominance over them. That being said: Try diplomacy. If that doesn't work, lower its hp a bit and THEN try.

You choose DIPLOMACY > TALK. You're not sure if a WILD BEAST is able to understand what you say, but you will still attempt talking to it.
You go up to the beast and give it a friendly greeting.
->
It responds with a friendly howl greeting.
...Ok, maybe friendly is not a good way to describe it. Hostile would be more fitting.
->
The beast gnashes its' claws at and strikes at you! ->
You manage to dodge just in the nick of time!
FRIENDLY DEFINITELY ISN'T THE APPROPRIATE WORD HERE.
The beast doesn't trust you enough to listen to your "greetings". Not that it can understand you, in the first place.
It looks somewhat scared.
Never have i been more frustrated with the first letter of my name. I really liked the walkaround it was short but fun to play >Kindness is key pet the doggy.
(Glad you liked it! I'm going to change the controls to something less frustrating soon. )
You'd try, but it wont let you get close enough to pet it!
