I've been listening a lot to the Beforus album since it came out, and I have to say that right now my favourite song on the album by far is MOG^3. It takes everything that made Nine Lives One Love great and takes it up a level. (also i cant stop listening to it someone help me)
What you need to be asking yourself, as we find ourselves tumbling through this hostile vortex locked in the vicegrip of each other's sinewed brawn, is this: how deep does the rabbit's glasshole go? Does it have a bottom? So if you really want to do this thing -- if you really want to DANCE -- then I suggest you take off your shirt, put on a proper pair of fucking suspenders, and put those bologna loaves you call arms to use. Right now I'm a human goddamned beef windmill, god help us all.
After purchasing all the albums for the 4/13 sale, Blaperile and I are slowly rediscovering old gems, long forgotten since we last listened to them on Bandcamp.
Today we listened to the rest of Drawing Dead, the Felt, Song of Skaia, and Prospit & Derse.
We also listened to the bonus tracks of Volume 8. Carefree Action is an inspired 8-bit track. It's a nice throwback to Volume 1-4, and the track art is a nice reference.
Before 4/6, we'd listened to Volume 9, and it had occurred to me how I could've seen Three's a Crowd and Break Shot be used. The former for the LOTAK face-off, and the latter for the dreambubble faceoff. Before Break Shot takes off, could've been a section for the army trying to depower LE in time before his first attack.
Homestuck Act Omega is going to include a music album with a variety of songs in it, some used in the comic, some not. We recently shared a song to celebrate 100 followers. So if you like cool Homestuck music, we've got a lot of interesting stuff planned, so you should check it out!
PSA: George Buzinkai (Doctor, Explore, Endless Climb, others, also did the cave theme for the original Spelunky) opened a GoFundMe for an album. His previous GoFundMe to get a place to live and back on his feet succeeded, so I'm pretty excited about the chance of a whole album from the guy.
Homestuck music is the best. Only a few people actually bought the entire Homestuck discography before they put it in the bundle, and I'm still proud to be one of those people. I was really upset that the Music Team effectively disbanded after Cherubim, but It was still fantastic while it lasted.
Volume 10 is probably going to be one of the best things ever after 4 years of buildup so my expectations are so high that they will almost surely be completely shattered when it actually comes out. But seeing several Music Team members suddenly return to activeness on their Tumblrs and such is very exciting. Though I'd probably pay $7 for a 3-minute-long Penumbra Phantasm so it probably doesn't even matter what they release as long as it's something lol.
Does anyone have one of those handy lists of songs that will probably be included on Volume 10, using stuff people have mentioned, or WIPs they've released, or songs in the comic still unreleased? People had a big list going before Volume 9 came out... though that was four years ago....
Only stuff I know so far:
Creata (Full Version)
108 Stars of Destiny, Crab Waltz, the other walkaround songs (uncollected for almost four years???)
A few Eidolon Orpheus Songs
the Back to Life Suite
Hopefully Tensei going "ugh fine" and finishing The King in Red
Penumbra Phantasm.... I mean if it isn't then.... I dunno man....
Well the walkaround songs have been done for years so those are fine, but Penumbra Phantasm.... IDK man it's been quoted in over 15 songs already.... if it doesn't come out I will probably spontaneously combust

I'm sure I read somewhere that any unreleased songs that aren't on Volume 10 might end up on Lofam 4, right? I just want to hear the full versions of the A6I3 walkaround songs that haven't been released.
