Due to reading up on Lord of the Rings and how J.R.R. Tolkein created the various lagnuages of Middle Earth based on real world languages, I began to wonder about languages based on Homestuck. That is,
Trollish (Alternian dialect) Trollish (Beforan dialect) Trollish (East Beforan dialect)
Prospitish (gesture-based, unable to be learnt by humans and trolls) Prospitish (gesture-and-vocal-based, able to be learnt by humans and trolls)
Dersian (gesture-based, unable to be learnt by humans and trolls) Dersian (gesture-and-vocal-based, able to be learnt by humans and trolls)
Then I thought about Denizens, and how each speaks in a language known only to their individual player. But then I thought oh yeah Jade and Kanaya both were able to talk to Echidna. So I figured there's at least twelve Denizens based on Aspects, then Yaldabaoth who is special. (I personally came up with five denizens for each aspect depending on what part of the world you're most attuned to though) I began to wonder what languages would best fit each Aspect, and whether there would be different dialects based on the Class of said player. Plug certain things in then boom you got a bunch of languages for us Homestucks.
So what do y'all think?

I think that there shouldn't be different dialects from classes - in the sense that classes are an aspect of the game, and the game, by nature of its predetermination, coerces cooperation among the players - See for instance, the abundance of computers/phones/communications devices, the existence of Trollian like chat programs (that can bridge over time/space/dimensions) In short, it is in the best interest of the game that players be able to communicate - and the universe will force this to happen. However, I completely agree with having an Alternian/Beforan language, and Dersespeech, and Prospitish. Note : Languages also imply a rules system for grammar & syntax --> Mere letter substitutions just make it a cipher (as Alternian glyphs currently are). conlang.org/resources/ Maybe this can provide some help?

Here's my headcanon: Since Alternia is such a large planet, it would be ridiculous for the Alternian race to have naturally developed only one language. My idea is that Alternian is actually a conlang constructed by the empire to allow for trolls to easily communicate with each other, similar to Newspeak from George Orwell's 1984. Since many Alternian words, such as profession titles (subjuggler, archeradicator, etc.) and names of objects (Ablution trap, Cholerbear, Enclosure Talons, etc.), are combinations of two words, it would seem that Alternian is agglutinate, like German, Newspeak, and, to a lesser extent, Chinese. That's all I have to say for now.

Alternian could be one "official" language that has over time been declined in various dialects (like East Beforan implies), so much that it became completely different languages. In a different way, that would explain why highbloods, who speak a "noble" version of the language (like Queen's English), use different words than lowbloods, who speak a more "peasant" tongue (like vulgar Latin): they note the difference between words like ablution trap and bathtub, so there's apparently a whole system working this way.
