Thread 2, RIP IN PEACE
What is HSHS about?
HSHS is a fun little community activity for the creators of webcomics and text adventures on the forum to share their perspective on each others' stories. The basic idea is that you reserve the opportunity to recreate a memorable or stylistically compatible scene from any of the past or present works of the previous participant as though it were you drawing or writing it. This is primarily to introduce new adventures to people that they may not have otherwise been inclined to read.
For example...
This Scene From Legend of Zuda by roobyjohnson shown below:
Was reserved by Recyth at the end of the first thread. Thus, in the style of his own adventure, Selfstuck, this becomes:
How Do I Participate?
If you have an adventure, webcomic or story with at least a few pages in length posted on the forum, you are able to participate. This also means that if you have a story or comic that doesn't take suggestions in the Artbound subforum, you can join in, and so can people in The Cradle, but due to the format, roleplay threads cannot. I'll leave it up to the thread to decide whether people who exclusively use the MSPFA website also count.
What If I Don't Have A Thread?
If you want to show your appreciation for someone whose adventure you like, there's always the Fanart Thread. Alternatively, you can post it in their thread directly, and I'm sure they'll appreciate it either way.

Rules
- Participants must have a forum based comic or text adventure with a respectable amount of content devoted to it, so people have enough to choose from. A general rule of thumb is at least three pages.
- If you specialize in text-only adventures, you are allowed to convert a scene into a text-only format instead, as long as you rewrite it from scratch, and are as descriptive as is necessary to convey the scene without any pictures.
- If the person preceding you specializes in text-only adventures but you don't, you may draw an illustration of an otherwise un-illustrated scene from one of their adventures.
- If you intend to participate, make your interest known to the thread's readers by posting your desire to reserve the next spot. You may NOT reserve a place if the person you are reserving a place for has not completed and posted their own contribution.
- You have at minimum 2 Days ( Previously 6 Hours ) to complete your piece. If you believe you need more time to complete it, you can request additional time to do so in the thread, but failure to do so will render your reservation void should someone decide they want to take your place. If this happens, you are not obligated to finish the piece, but please be wary of making promises you may not be able to keep.
- Illustrating scenes from collaborations is permitted as long as whoever you're posting after is the "administrator" of the collaboration.
- Don't try to recreate recreations from the topic that recreated someone else's scene. That shit is recursive and may end up destroying the spacetime continuum or something.
- You can recreate a scene someone else did earlier in the thread(s) but you cannot do the same scene twice, three times or any number of times greater than once. However, please try to exercise some originality and diversity.
- Do not steal other peoples work and try to pass it off as your own. The moderators will be very upset, and so will you when they inevitably find out.
- Please treat the thread and the people who take part in it with respect. This extends to their works.
- Additionally, please apply the same level of effort you would to your own works to the scene you are redrawing/writing.
- Precede all Off-Topic discussion with [VOID].
- Avoid favoritism and discrimination when deciding when to reserve, as it goes against the spirit of the whole thing.
- Everyone must enjoy themselves. No exceptions.
