I just realized that there are people who use Xtreme Kool Letterz completely unironically. Like, they genuinely think that that makes them seem more "cool". I'm the type of person who sleeps with a dictionary next to my bed in case I suddenly realize I'm not 100% sure what a word means in the middle of the night and I'm genuinely angry about this.

I want to move out and be an independent adult, but while I excel academically, I don't think I'll be able to live on my own for a while, because being independent means having to focus on everything and I'm hyper-focused on one thing.
The worst part is that because of this, I feel like a parasite for my parents spending money on things that they wouldn't have to if I was neurotypical.

A really embarrassing confession - I got my username by combining the word 'Trickle' and 'Jest' from two separate username generators. Yep. I practically got my name from a crappy online username gen. Also, not really a bad thing, but apparently being a good writer flows in my family, but nobody is smart enough to actually write a book. I realized this when my sister told me that and then I was like 'ohhh, that's why I always ace essays and crap like that'. I also enjoy writing, so maybe I'll be an author. Maybe. PS: My name ends in a 'D', and I'm neither English nor American (even though I think my english is really good wink wink nudge nudge) and when I was really small I used to make crappy games on this website, and my username was my name + the letters i and k and 123, ending up in <blahblahblah>dik123. Since at that time I didn't know what 'dick' meant, everyone laughed at me, and I only stopped using that when some guy told me online. It's also a really shitty idea to use your real life name as a nick-name. Yeah.

It's something you can't help, so there's no use blaming yourself. Everyone has different needs and abilities. I'm sure you'll make it someday.

Oh, sorry, I know this isn't the right place to ask this, but odd said that you gave him his nickname, and I was wondering what his name meant. I always thought it meant 'odd i see' but I think I'm wrong. Can you clarify that?

From what I know, he's been "The Odd I See" since the start. But I read it like some misspelling of "The Odyssey" and ended up nicknaming him "Disee". pronounced either "dee-say" or "die-see", i don't know.

It's funny how "oddisee" came from "odyssey" and i thought his name was read like "odyssey" when I first saw it. Thanks for clarifying that, btw. oh and I also accidentally read disee as "dee-see" when i first saw it hahaha

In school. And I think the teacher saw it. Yeahhhh.... I don't have a thing for him, I'm straight, just that I was horribly bored.

What's with people going "I'd like to say he's hot, but I'm straight"? If your friend is hot, then he's hot. That's it. It won't influence your sexuality. Masculinity is so fragile.

The name "TheOddISee" is supposed to be read as it is spelled, but the joke is when read fast enough, it becomes "The Odyssey" Or if you're like every Twitch streamer I've watched who's noticed me, It's "Theo Disee"
I have a habit in which when ever someone says anything with some potential hypocrisy in it I feel the need to point it out, but in the process somehow make myself a hypocrite.
It's a vicious cycle which forces me to stay quiet even though I want to jokingly point it out. In fact, I'm stopping myself from doing it right now.

Same. It happens so frequently that I'm about to the point where I'll go "Screw it, I'm a hypocrite but so are you and here's why."
When I was younger I had this weird paranoia that somewhere out there, there was someone that could read my mind. I'd remember that thought in the middle of a crowded hallway or something and try really hard not to think of anything I didn't want other people to know. And then of course the mind-reader had access to all my most embarrassing secrets.

I have that with my partner. When we're falling asleep in bed sometimes I get wotried that they can read my mind. It's dumb and obviously it's not true but yeah.

It's generally a sign of anxiety. What I do to help it is think about something either very obscene, very bad or very controversial. If no one turns around to look at me with disgusted eyes or go "seriously, dude, wtf?", then the coast is clear of any mind readers. And even if there happened to be one around, they'd be so disgusted with what they've just seen that they'd nope the heck out of my mind. Winning situation all the way.

Really, if someone can read minds, they would probably be used to seeing bad stuff in people's minds by now and wouldn't think less of you for it because they know everyone else (likely including themself) does it too.

...does it mean I've pictured myself hard BDSM porn between Sailor Moon, Hitler and Harry Potter in a furry suit for nothing? Oh well. I didn't need my eyes anyway.
I still think there's always a point where people have to back away. Even twisted psychopaths have their limits before noping out. Plus, mind readers are sensitive to one's emotions and mind state. If you make your mind as violent as could be, if your neurones are screaming out aggressivity and danger, and if you give a general impression of "You shouldn't have done that...", then most people will leave you alone. Or you can stare at the supposed telepath and add them to the above dirty intercourse. That would disturb anyone, or at least draw a reaction from them. If there is a sign of said reaction, get the fuck away from them.

There is this chick who cuts in my school, and I wanna freaking kill her. She acts like she's proud of it,She wears short sleeve shirts and walks around with a superiority complex. For some reason she feels the need to bring up that she cuts herself when ever someone else is talking about their problems and she wants people to respect that she's ruining her body. I know I should feel bad for her but I just can't.
