I think Hussie just outdid all of our predictions.

I would have almost preferred my Lord-English-comes-into-the-real-world-and-kills-us-all prediction.

the one that happened /thread The worst ending to Homestuck is the ending to Homestuck. It's so ridiculous it hurts. I'm starting to get the feeling that Hussie was watching this thread the whole time back on the old forums.

I think Hussie just outdid all of our predictions. I think I pretty much predicted exactly what happened.

During the next few updates, the remaining players group together and prepare the new universe, and all remaining plot threads are ignored. The first page of Act 7 is a picture of the SBAHJ frog, which is their universe frog. The second and final page doesn't have a visual, just the word "end" in size 10 comic sans. omg you sir have completely called it. someone get this person a medal.

What worries me is that Andrew has known how he wanted Homestuck to end since literally before Day One, right? Since then, the cast has grown geodesically and the plot has complexified--in ways not even he could have foreseen. I'm afraid that since he couldn't have accounted for all of it, a lot of characters and plot threads--and not minor ones, either--will simply go by the wayside, lost forever. I can live with not having every single question answered, but what if Jane never has another line of dialog? What if Rose never completes her quest or plays the rain? If it ends with a fade to white after they walk into the new session and leaves things open ended, I swear I'll flip my desk. hahahahahahaha ....shit

Holy mother of god I screamed out loud when I saw this. It's such an accurate prediction.

In all seriousness, my worst nightmare is that Collide really WAS the climax, that LE is defeated easily by Vriska, and that everything just kinda proceeds as expected. Welp. *Proceeds to unsuccessfully drown sorrows in memories of Cascade*

Should we make this the "What would be the worst epilogue to Homestuck?" thread?

In all seriousness, my worst nightmare is that Collide really WAS the climax, that LE is defeated easily by Vriska, and that everything just kinda proceeds as expected. Welp. *Proceeds to unsuccessfully drown sorrows in memories of Cascade* I still find Cascade to be the climax, which is weird considering how long Act 6 is and how it's another story.
