I'm playing ironically and giving my Pokémon dumb names. I already have five weedlets that are drug jokes for Gog's sakes.

I feel you. Summer days in the South get ridiculously hot. I actually prefer winter for that exact reason. At least I won't get dehydrated in 5 minutes.
Anyways, I hatched my 2 km egg. Which was....a Pidgey. Oh well, more Pidgey Candies for my Pidgeot. I did get more eggs from the memorial (which was a Pokespot) because the gym my mom works at is literally ten feet away from it, though.

I'm less than half a kilometer away from hatching my 10 K egg and it's tearing me up inside waiting to see what I get, as well as the bucketloads of stardust I assume I'll get.

I just caught an abra. This is exciting because the only things that is ever in the vicinity of my neighborhood are pidgeys and oddishes.

I think I'm going to start playing that game, now that it's finally out in the UK. Even though I've never played any of the other games before. I never had the chance. I got hardly anything growing up. I remember watching the anime when I was little, does that count? Seeing so much about it on the internet has convinced me. I might even go out tomorrow, maybe I'll make friends. Now I have a reason to go out again.

It really doesn't use any mechanics from the game as far as I'm aware so you should be fine.
There might be something with type effectiveness with gyms but IDEK with the whole tapping and swipe-dodging stuff.

Just finished playing Undertale yesterday. I did the True Pacifist route and the ending made me tear up a little. I don't think I have the stomach for a Genocide run so I'm going to leave it there.
I resisted that game so hard when it first got popular, mostly because of the way people described it and the fact that some people recommended it whose judgement I don't trust. Then a few of my favorite YouTubers made Let's Play videos of it. I decided to check it out and turned out to be pleasantly surprised.

Yeah, I'll admit some (but not all) fans can be a bit of a nuisance, but it's good you judged the game for itself rather than by the vocal minority in the fanbase.
Played TF2, and I'm absolutely loving it! I main Medic, as my aim is pretty bad especially with fast moving targets, so I get to be useful in another way! Also, it seems Medic mains are pretty rare, as more often than not I'm the only Medic on my team.
Now I just need to learn to not accidentally follow an enemy because I wasn't paying attention to the colors, and not to panic in dangerous situations to the point I put myself in even more danger.

I want to play Pokemon GO, but my phone has no 4G or outside internet connection, so forget walks. I'm fated to stay at home and watch everyone go around. I have used all my Pokeballs at 200xp before level 5 and now I'm stuck because no way I'll buy more. There are no Pokestops where I live and the 'trick your phone's GPS localisation' thing doesn't work. Talk about a hype.

Pokemon GO makes all the friends GO away. get it because everybody doesn't talk to me anymore because they're too busy not being NEETS ; ~; I also get worried a ton about my friends, I don't want them to get hit by a car while distracted or anything. That would absolutely ruin me. Urghhh. It's safe to say Pokemon GO is my worst enemy right now.

I'd play Pokemon GO, but I have no interest in the Pokemon franchise and i don't have a phone for it anyway. If I ever find a game that appeals to me that makes me go outside and exercise, I'd love to get it provided i have a device i can play it on. Maybe I'd make some friends, but more likely I'd get some fresh air and maybe a skintone that isn't 'ghostly pale'.

Pokemon GO is a lot more fun when you work at a PokeStop and next door to a gym
But I came to this thread to honor General Media and his heroic sacrifice in WWI

You'd probably get mugged Thanks for the vote of confidence, person I barely know. Guess if that's out of the question, I may as well start growing some vampire fangs.

Welp, Blizzriel is opting for the undead route, nothing to do but start stockpiling our torches and wooden stakes.
In other news I finally got my 10 KM egg hatched and got a Kabuto with figgin 32 candies for my troubles, not bad if I do say so myself.

My dad gave me his old phone to play Pokemon GO on, so I'm limited to my wifi connection. So far, I've caught a fuckton of Drowzees, a few Rattatas, one Pidgey, and one Charmander.
Oh and it turns out I live across the street of two Pokestops. I'm just grinding off of those at this point

I live JUST out of reach of a pokestop so I'd need to walk a quarterblock outside my house in order to grind off it. It is quite annoying.
Just saw the new Ghostbusters movie. I thought it was thoroughly average. There were a few good jokes scattered throughout, and good effects, but overall the dialog was pretty stilted. Also, the experience was ruined "enhanced" by an absolutely hammered lady sitting behind us who would switch between loudly criticizing the movie and guffawing at it. So, there was that.

I would be playing the shit out of Pokemon Go if I didn't have a job that has me working on my feet 30-some hours a week, but as it is, the place where I get lunch when I'm at work is a stop, so I launch the app when I start walking across the huge parking lot (it's part of what used to be a shopping mall), don't even bother trying to catch anything on the way because you can't see fuck all with the sun glare on the phone and its a car traffic area so yeah, wait for my order to be ready at the counter, grab whatever items the stop has, catch 2 or 3 mons that are within range, close it, take my food and go back. If not for the fact that I call in my orders, and am paranoid about clocking back in from lunch late, I would be tempted to just eat lunch there and keep catching shit.

Lucky. I had 2 eggs hatch today. I got 2 magikarps. That's actually REALLY lucky given how many candies you get from an egg hatching, I assume you've seen the amount it takes to make one into a Gyarados?
