Aww yeah, I've been waiting for Nora's next papaya as much for the content as for the symbolism. Let's see her reaction to the true nature of Alternia and the Scratch...
Huh, this must have been a really long time ago. Was Karkat’s ancestor chronologically the first to be born?
Wait.
Another troll session?? What’s going on here??? I presume those symbols all represent whoever the fuck Scratch is talking about, so……. Who the fuck is he talking about?

So… a failed troll session, that somehow happened before the session we’re familiar with?
Is he saying they were ectobiologized in a session other than the one in which they were players? How is that possible??? I feel like I am missing something here.
Hmm, kind of underwhelming so far, but then she hasn't figured out what's going on yet...
She's starting to catch on...
Yes, in fact we still know more than you do at this point. I found it funny she freaked out at this but had comparatively little to say about the ancestor-descendant switch until the lengthy bit Eric quoted.
Not a First Guardian - the new First Guardian isn't really going to be any more intelligent than Bec - but certainly someone else who's a vector of Lord English's will...
I feel like this is earlier than most people figure this out.
Lol. Do we point out the relationship between what Karkat said about his symbol in his fake password and what we see here?
Oh dear God, this is just like when R-stuck read this part...
Now I'm thinking of sending her Hussie's "I'm only influencing how the story is being told" justification, but as with R-stuck, it's hard to know exactly when to cut it off to avoid tipping her off to what might happen with the fourth walls... screw it, I went ahead and sent her the first two lines.
Now, in Act 6 we learn that he
didn't know he even had an ancestor and that's why he didn't buy into the whole ancestors thing, but R-stuck (or maybe someone else) seemed to take it as given that he
did know about all this...
Just start the Maryams Fan Club, why don't you.
Looks like knowing where the retcons come from doesn't stop her from wondering about some of their manifestations... in any case, a short time later:
...I guess that fate was more fitting than we might have thought.
OTIM x2 COMBO!!!
Well, as it turns out, her pre-Scratch counterpart is pretty chill with Karkat...
A, you already knew that, and B, this doesn't mean what you think it means...
That seems a bit early to jump to THAT conclusion...
After figuring out who the post-Scratch players are going to be:
Looks like her own powers of prognostication don't extend quite that far yet. Yeah, the trolls only share aspects, the kids will have completely different titles because the current kids count as their co-players, and only one of them even knew their ectobiological counterpart and it's the last one you're likely to expect.
Yeah, those two pieces of evidence, and something coming up a little bit later, are all big red herrings.
At first I thought what happens when Hussie sneaks up on him would put the lie to this, then I realized that Hussie basically fits right into Scratch's plans. I thought he said something earlier in the [o]termission about his omniscience wearing thin as the end of his life approaches, but did he know more than we've thought about what's about to happen all along? Maybe Soeroah's onto something with
his headcanon.
Of the many, many disappointments of Act 6, one of the sneakier ones is that Hussie didn't do more with the notion that the trolls see Lord English as their literal equivalent of the Grim Reaper, and Karkat and a bunch of ghosts are about to take him head-on, face-to-face.
Oh... oh god. It
would be just like Chief Justice Guy Fieri, and I'm not sure if it would be better or worse than juggalo presidents. If Betty Crocker endorses him, we'll know we're doomed.
Can you imagine if John Oliver had compared a Trump presidency to the Condesce's rule of post-Scratch Earth??? His last name even has the same number of letters as our John's. There's a TV Tropes WMG about another Daily Show alum, Stephen Colbert, making a backdoor reference to Homestuck on the Colbert Report and Hussie inserting him into the rise of the Condesce afterwards.
Now I'm kinda hoping for her to get to Dirk's exposition at the start of A6A3 before the election...
Something about this makes me feel really uncomfortable...
Whoa, she sees a gag coming that never happens, unless you count the broken symbols in the leadup to Cascade. Or the lack of a Disc 3 that leads to Homosuck. Or, as Eric suggests, all the pauses.
Upon reaching the "Hussie dancing with Scratch" panel:
Oh you have no idea. Tell me someone has done that mashup.
Wait for it...
Waaaaait for it...
Waaaaaaaait for it...
And now you have your first taste of true fear.
I hope you see why I was so looking forward to this, and why it sucks that the forums are down yet I didn't want to use this site's different code to put together this post in case they came back up today.
Welp, that's the end of Nora's liveblog everybody

Sadly, Karkat isn't quite going to be successful at that. Gamzee's just going to be a bit subtler about his antics.
She only even got to the bit Eric was worried about because she breezed right past where she was supposed to stop at by two pages, which I worried about as soon as I saw it in the header:
Dammit Trix, couldn't you have contacted her directly, separately from the askbox, as soon as you decided to do it this way? Or did she already know she was only going to page 6000 and just breezed past it until Trix remembered about it, because I seem to recall Trix saying she
and Nora agreed on this? I hope she realizes how much closer she came to "doing harm" than she even realizes right now, if that makes sense.
She also says her next post will run through 6009, so maybe Strawhat was onto something by specifying 6011? Or are Nora and Trix going to lump Intermission 2 with the Act 6 intro flash after all?
