I just found out Rune uses they/them pronouns and now I feel like an asshole :/
I went back and changed it, but yeah, just letting you all know.
(I was sure I had seen them being referred to by she/her pronouns, but I must've been mistaken. Sorry.)

It's actually similar to the fandom's reaction. If I recall, people were like WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS SHIT but then when Davepetasprite^2 started talking more they were like "oh, okay, they're pretty dang cool i think"
Personally I think Davesprite does get closure by merging with Nepetasprite but I definitely understand why not everyone agrees. They should watch Steven Universe.

Also I’m noticing there’s a sneaky underlying theme of colour duality scattered here and there. I’m not sure if it means anything, but I’m commenting on it anyway. Did he really catch the red/green symbolism already!? John is, again, back in his room on his birthday (which is still today; it is always John’s Birthday Today in homestuckland) Yes, switch back; this is getting way too meta. I have read fanfic that had this much meta in it, but it gives me headaches. I don’t have enough coffee for this kind of headache this morning. This does not bode well. Maybe he’ll even decide that you should get a perfect ending to his masterpiece after all! , you say? Also, Condo Cooped has her [S] Jack Ascend react up!

What's really odd is that the thing that first prompted Aron to comment on red/green symbolism was the lights on the punch designix, which... I think red and green lights, with red meaning stop and green meaning go, are a fairly common thing in technology? Oh sorry. There is an old post where Rune says they are female, so I'm kind of confused. But sure why not. Could you track it down and link it, because I think Eric tried to find it when he made his own realization and couldn't? And if you do find it but there's anything that explicitly says to use they and she/they've never explicitly said to make a change, maybe ask for clarification unless you're worried that would be prying too much? |
