Oh man her reaction to the green sun being created was perfect! Not that it helped. She finally gets it! Though, to be fair, Doc Scratch’s place somehow managed to not ceased to exist. And no she's unlocked my favorite music album!
Oh hey, Amy (readinghomestuck) just posted her Act 7 audio react! And none of the other livebloggers close to her have done so, so does this mean... correct me if I'm wrong... that hers is the first ever COMPLETE LIVEBLOG?!?! What about the blogs that caught up and continued liveblogging updates as they came out, such as A Silly Girl/Amy? It's 4 am so I might be misreading, but wasn't Timey talking about her?

9828 (GREAT BRO-HUG BUMP OF 2015)
9859 (Terezi: Remem8er) 9987 (Collide)
I am... actually extremely 0kay with this. I don't think there's one flash I'm REALLY feeling like is missing and truly warrants a reaction. 21 total too, damn!
I'm surprised the brohug bump is actually included - going by numbers, it shouldn't have! But... I'm guessing that was a little of Trix majyyks, in that case? That'll certainly be interesting to see in a reaction.

I presume the Wicked Witch of the East refrance[fixed by FV] (complete with sparkly red shoes!) is not only intentional, but also relevant? Otherwise, why go so far for a gag? Hrm. No idea what that’s supposed to mean, though, except that maybe she should avoid water. Nah, that's the Wicked Witch of the West. Jade needs to watch out for falling houses. Also, Reactionstuck reached Jane: Enter! Looking forward to seeing his reaction to Penis Ouija.

Hmm. I think I'm okay with that list, looks like it (in my opinion anyway) separated the wheat from the chaff.

Funnily enough, soon after I made my suggestion for a new spreadsheet column I saw Hussie's newspost edit suggesting there might still be a few more pages. Sorry for ruining it for you Soeroah! (and apparently breaking the spoiler policy, but hey, this is the only thread I go to so I worry more about liveblog spoilers... naturally, I'm posting this 20 minutes before it's kosher and still not going back and editing it, or spoiler-tagging the bit about the newspost edit ) I once again broke my no-audio-reacts rule to listen to Nora's Cascade react. Here's her reaction to the "dead" panel: SHE DOESN'T HAVE A DREAMSELF! SHE... DOESN'T HAVE A DREAMSELF! Well, I mean, there's... Jadesprite, but... even so, she didn't die - on her - quest bed, what the - fuck! NO! So she considered but discounted the possibility of her going god-tier, and even when Noir placed her on the quest bed thought her dreamself still wouldn't be available (even though she'd earlier seemingly opened up the possibility) until AFTER we checked in on Davesprite and Jadesprite. And this is without even thinking about the potential impact of First Guardian powers. :DDDDDDDD And she doesn't quite figure out what the deal with Jade's fenstrated wall is by the end of the video, instead waiting for the part The One Guy quotes. Do I remind her of what Karkat said about the "yellow lawnring"? Probably a bit spoilery at the moment, at least until after Intermission 2... This is something I got hung up on; I initially thought it indicated that the Horrorterrors really were antagonistic and on the same side as Lord English/Doc Scratch, but that ends up not being the case. (Take a look at that to see how Nora still figured it out faster than some people might have.) *WONK* You don't want to know what fans have come up with there. Oddly, she's combining Mental breakdown and Vriskagram, but NOT Synchronize/Unite and Caliborn: Enter, even though only five pages separate the cited pages there; I'm guessing she's going to do two separate videos in one post (or two separate posts back-to-back) there, and just a single video for the former. I'm surprised the brohug bump is actually included - going by numbers, it shouldn't have! But... I'm guessing that was a little of Trix majyyks, in that case? That'll certainly be interesting to see in a reaction. There are only 20 flashes with vote counts over 40, so the bro-hug bump isn't THAT far behind with only two more flashes ahead of it, and Nora mentioned that they did some "thinking and rearranging, based on the vague idea of the nature of each page". Based on pure vote count, Caliborn gunning down Gamzee should have been one of the 21 flashes, but shes8ack got picked despite also finishing behind it. That said, I'm a little surprised they'd go with the bro-hug bump over Karkat: Mental breakdown. Not only are they similar in character with Mental breakdown getting more votes, and I think there's enough content between Mental breakdown and END OF ACT 6 INTERMISSION 1 for one or even two posts (as opposed to a single short post between the bro-hug bump and Terezi: Remem8er), Mental breakdown might actually be a little more reactable to (not being an endless loop) and contains something closer to story-relevant content. Frankly, since skipping Caliborn/Gamzee leaves a 17-vote gap between shes8ack and END OF ACT 6 ACT 6 INTERMISSION 1 (which itself is barely over 40%), and they were already going well over 15 flashes, it's a little surprising they included either shes8ack or the bro-hug bump, but the latter definitely seems like a more frivolous choice to jump up in the order.

Waaaaait but will she react to intermission 2 or not WAIT I'M SO CONFU- Yeah I'm actually kinda confused there too! I mean I can't imagine that'd be something she'd not do a reaction to considering what it is but?? Maybe it'll just be posted whenever she does her next post? I know some livebloggers have done both in one go but Cascade is quite a bit to take in itself.

Act 5.2 thoughts, Intermission 2 and RDA in the middle of the Act 6 break. Or maybe she just... will do it with the start of act 6, yeah. i've got no clue.

"comfortable" with the ending since their experience is different from ours, largely? Like, their interaction with the fandom seems more hands on than your average sit-on-forums-talking type. Even if they find the ending disappointing they've formed bonds with their readers and the like and get to come join forums and read Liveblogs with us, and I wonder if that'd be "enough"? I wonder if Nora will ever be in these forums with us (or MSPA's should it ever return).

I think it depends on the liveblogger. Going by the ones I read, I predict Rune will like it because they don't care much about plot details, and are in for the social thing and feeling good (and the end is all about feeling good). Nora will hate it because she is all about plot. RS will probably be somewhat underwhelmed but is not likely to have strong feelings about it. He'll just go "meh" and move on.

oh god, RS's Jane: Enter reaction is golden this guy, i swear also FOAL ain't done yet, that's always welcome The apology helps, so thank you :/ I wonder if Livebloggers would feel more... Will Nora ever finish Homestuck and draw her own conclusions from the ending, or will the downsides and mistakes of Act 6/7 prevail? Vote now on your phones!

oh god, RS's Jane: Enter reaction is golden this guy, i swear I especially love the part where he thinks it makes sense for Jane to do nothing with her cruxite tree because she's done nothing other than destroy her house and being embarrassing with Jake.

Then again, something tells me this ending would be considerably better for an archival reader, considering 3/7 of the comic's real life time was spent in the last 25% of it. So I guess we gotta wait and see.

So I guess we gotta wait and see. You're probably right. The longer the pauses went on (we've had a combined two years of pause since 4/13/13), the more we became convinced that the end would have an absolutely spectacular amount of plot twists. An archival reader probably wouldn't experience that sort of letdown.

Ok, it seems that some time after leaving her blog, Mannie's account has gotten hacked by a bot. There's two recent reblogged posts that have nothing to do with homestuck, no comment, and one of them is even NSFW. :/

It'd be interesting to see what would happen if someone created a bot that only ran off of text from homestuck.

A liveblog robot sounds like such an awesome thing to program. I suppose it would work maybe like this: say something about each page, pick passages of text to comment on. Maybe it would work like this:
For any text accompanying a page, it would work like this:
"line" refers to a line in narration, or a sentence in a pesterlog.
The bot first goes through each line. The first line has a 50% chance of being picked. If it's not picked it goes to the next line which also has a 50% chance of being picked, and so on.
If a line is picked, the bot would quote this line, and x lines after it, where x is any number from 0 to 19; the numbers would have varying chances of being selected.
Then the bot goes through some process of commenting on the line, and then repeats the process with the next line after what was quoted.
It may sound like a lot of work but I'm sure someone could do such a thing.
Should I make a thread called "The Liveblog Bot Project"?

I actually think there's a site that generates markov chains based off of Homestuck, effectively computer generating text that, in theory, resembles Homestuck's narration. Here it is: markovstuck.matoking.com/

HERE WE GO I hope you had a good Homestuck. Oh yes, this is the quality content I have been missing lately. The infamous ending of Mass Effect was actually the first thing I thought of when I watched Act 7. Then again, I'm one of the few people who actually liked the end of ME, so I'm not sure why I thought of that. I am completely amazed that FOAL predicted the "weird honk from vent shaft" refrance before it happened. He truly is the Seer of Sbahj (in addition to whatever else we had him as)
