Most relevant right now: This game is inspired by strategy games such as Advance Wars and Fire Emblem.
In this strategy game, you command your units to attack enemy units. Simple, right? Each unit has a “class”, which determines it’s stats.
Each unit has 10HP (Health Points), it may only have different amount of HP under special conditions.
The attack stat is how much the unit will deal damage to enemies.
Defence allows to suffer less damage from attacks. The amount of damage dealt is determined by a simple formula: Attack – Defense. If [Attack] is equal to 0 or less, the defending unit blocks the attack, and does not suffer damage.
Move – how much tiles the unit can move.
To move a unit, you say the unit’s coordinates and say the coordinates it should move to. The most upper-left tile is 0,0; The tile to the right of it is 1,0; The tile below is 0,1; The tile simultaneously below and to the left of it is 1,1; And so on.
After moving, the unit can attack an enemy unit in it’s range. The enemy unit will counter-attack.
Let's get onto the first map!
You are one of the tactictians, out of thousands, who decided to command the blue army. But all the tacticians have been assigned to one army...
Your mission is to defeat the red army.
(I will control the red army.) (Since it's the NUTSHACK tutorial, I will not explain some game concepts, since they aren't of use here.
