==> Prelude: Character Creation
We need to make our first character. Shall they be male, female, or something else?

>FemaleFemale it is. She needs hair. Shall the heroine have long or short hair? Straight or curly? Perhaps a ponytail, afro or a braid? And she definitely needs clothes. What's her style? Does she have a favorite color?

>Long curly hair with a braid. Her style is 90s hipster, and her favorite color is beige
I think that means lots of flannel and blue jeans that were bought pre-ripped. You can't see it, but I bet she wears birkenstocks. ...I wonder what it means when your aura is beige. Why hello there, my dear. Welcome to the world. I think she needs a name. So what shall it be?

>Kristy Shennan
A young woman wakes up in a strange place. She knows who she is, of course; she's KRISTY SHENNAN, a mellow sort who finds the color beige both soothing and quite misunderstood, and whose late-90s Gen-X fashion sense steers towards minimal fuss and maximum comfort. Unfortunately, she now finds herself in a confusing predicament. Wasn't she just playing a game with a few friends only moments ago? At least, that's what she thought she was doing... Wherever could she be?

" Note: I am not an artist..." Are you sure about that? Because the art is fucking incredible You're much too kind. I do doodle occasionally and own "How-To-Draw" art books (that I never use). Just wait until I try to draw a proper background/landscape.
Speaking of...>Maybe in some sort of MediumMedium? The idea makes Kristy notice a door and path that wasn't there before. There's nothing she can see beyond, besides the portal's strange alluring light. ==>She's drawn to it, though a little nervous. As she walks towards it, she feels like someone is pushing her to go through; a push that gets more insistent the closer she is. Not like she has anything better to do... So, why not? Kristy enters the light. ==>The pleasant, welcoming light disappears, and Kristy is suddenly inundated with sensation: She's hungry and thirsty. She's tired, with eyes too blurry to see straight. Her feet are cold. Her head feels hot. Her back is stiff. The air is damp on her skin, and her sense of smell is overwhelmed with a variety of different aromas. What does she see in this new Medium? If she can see at all, poor thing.

>A land of Brimstone and Geysers She could've had the land of puppies and ice cream, but nothing could be easy for poor Kristy. ==>The air is humid and warm, too warm for flannel. This place smells like a thousand matches suddenly being lit, burning the nostrils and leaving a tangy, acrid taste in Kristy's mouth. At least the bothersome air seems breathable despite the odor. ==>Is that smoke or steam rising from those Geysers? Kristy is going to guess both. Time to get your bearings, dear. What do you see, besides a whole lotta nothing? ==>" ?" ==>At least you're too small to be edible to it, right?
Author Notes: I hope these spoiler tags work. Anyway, thanks for continuing to post, Sharkalien. I had started on a different planet for Kristy, but I scrapped it when you offered a suggestion. I rather prefer being offered ideas for this adventure to using my own. Gives me a sense of obligation.

>Run back inside and try to get in touch with your friends Author Notes: I hope these spoiler tags work. Anyway, thanks for continuing to post, Sharkalien. I had started on a different planet for Kristy, but I scrapped it when you offered a suggestion. I rather prefer being offered ideas for this adventure to using my own. Gives me a sense of obligation. No problem! I'll admit I came up with the suggestion with noble gas in mind (how brimstone, AKA sulfur, reacts with all elements except for a handful, including the noble gases), and I didn't want the aromas to come from an obvious suggestion like "flowers" or something. By the way, what planet did you have in mind?

>Go back inside cave and hide
Despite being a normally easy-going and composed sort of girl, a sudden inclination to run back to the cave and hide from this smelly world and the gigantic, twining mass above overwhelms all thought and reason. KRISTY MUST OBEY! ==>Kristy's addled desperation almost makes her smack her head into the stone wall behind her. ...Stone wall? But this is where she just came from! ==>
The entrance is gone! Not even an indication that there ever was a way in or out. The stones were obviously stacked here by someone, but there's nothing to tell you who did it or why or how they can make an entrance magically vanish as if it was never there. ==>As the realization that she can't obey the previous command settles, Kristy resumes her normal composure and moves away from the stone wall. So what now? Besides agitating the swirling mass above (which seems to shift slightly from time to time). >Try to get in touch with your friendsYes, of course! Kristy's friends! She quickly fumbles her hands into the side pockets of her jeans, searching for a way to contact them. A phone? A headset? A beeper?! ==>Nothing. Looks like the only thing she walked out with were the clothes on her back and the shoes on her feet. Kristy doesn't even have pocket lint in her side pockets.
Author Notes: A Land of Syrup and ???? Because I had pancakes and waffles on the brain.

>girl shake that bootyResponding as per command, Kristy's bounty of booty begins to extraneously swing as if her life depended on it. ==>It's all rather pointless. ==>(I could do this all day.) ==>(But I won't.) Kristy's unruly booty is back to business as usual, leaving Kristy feeling a wee bit embarrassed for her sudden gratuitous display. >Go down stairsGoing down the stone steps seems like her best, if only option. Kristy runs her hands down the brittle, yellow material this strange pillar is made from, or at least covered in; it takes her a moment to remember her lessons from school, that this stuff is sulfur. It would help explain the smell, at least. ==>The lower Kristy gets to the ground, the more intense the heat, until she's sweating profusely. The air also seems much thicker, and hazier, making her struggle to take a good breath. ==>It doesn't take long to get to the bottom of the stairs, where the planet's effects are much worse, but still bearable. Kristy sees a raised pedestal made of black stone, and... a big red button. Conveniently placed as if waiting for her to press it. Could it provide answers or could it be a trap?

>Check your back pocket firstKristy halts mid-step to reach behind her and check her back pockets. The left has nothing in it and the right -- Oh, some sort of card-thing. ==>No wonder she didn't notice; the plastic is very flexible. ==>And it's not just one, but three cards. ==>The first is a Red Diamond. No indication, front or back, of what it might mean, besides a very complicated code on the back. ==>The second is... a pumpkin? As for the third... ==>A pair of arms. ==>Oh, don't make that face, Kristy. I'm sure they'll come in handy at some point.

(BEGIN PART ONE OF TWO)>Use pair of arms to press the buttonKristy releases the pair of arms from the captchacard. They hover above her, patiently waiting to be of use. ==>While the used captchacard, lacking a fetch modus, allocates itself to Kristy's back pocket. ==>Using the arms, however, proves far more surprising than Kristy expected. They "grow" elbow extensions and attach themselves to her sides, going so far as to cut holes in her flannel shirt. It doesn't hurt, it just feels weird, like having a couple of large stickers attached to her skin that tingle occasionally. Their previously shown ability to hover must have something to do with it. ==>Kristy thinks they may be mechanical... robotic? Something like that. Regardless, they seem to respond to her every thought and adjust accordingly, so they don't get in the way of her real arms. >Carefully pay attention to pumpkin card as you press the buttonWhat pumpkin? ...Oh, this one. Yes, it's still on the captchacard. ==>Kristy carefully focuses on the pumpkin card as she walks the last couple steps to the pedestal. What are you hiding, Pumpkin!?==> STARING INTENSIFIES.I WILL KNOW YOUR SECRETS==>Meanwhile, Kristy's mechanical arm presses the big red button.
Sorry, making 8 images is my limit for the day as my wrist starts to hurt. Will continue part two tomorrow with the other commands.
