Hey when I click New the game just stops playing sound and shows me the title screen landscape. Then hangs.
Why is this happening and can I fix it.

How do i get to xefros? i've fed the lusus and i'm at the door with the spear in it, but it just says if you want to make it across the street, you better be fast. I don't know what to do to make myself go fast. I can't use any items on the door. |

For now, don't worry about that door. You still have Dammek's lusus to deal with. Have you solved the second SERPENT door puzzle? If not, remember what word it is you need to spell, and look around the room for a key if you need it. Also, hello new members/guests! Just as a reminder to those who want to use spoiler tags but don't know how, all you have to do: [spoiler]Is write your text like this. In fact, I don't think you even need to use the ending bit, it closes that automatically, though you will need it if you intended for any text to follow the spoilered bit without being spoilered itself. If that makes sense.[/spoiler] Oh, also, the basement is in the door to the right of the kitchen in Joey's house. If that's what you were asking last night. Sorry if this is a late reply. Before we get too far along, please remember to use spoiler tags to protect the integrity of readers who haven't played yet. Not that I think anything really qualifies yet, just putting that reminder out there. Will probably be more relevant when you get further into the game. Meanwhile, continue to enjoy!  Agreed, but it's probably best to spoiler the stuff people have already answered without spoilers so as not to set a bad precedent for people coming into the thread. I know it made me hesitant to look whether or not my sticking point had been addressed yet. Already went through and added them to the first couple posts because it really shouldn't matter if they're early game spoilers or not. Feel free to help members who haven't figured out how to use them to add them in, that's the kind of reason why mods can edit posts. Please try to do your best when asking or answering a question to keep the unspoilered parts of your post vague enough to not give away anything that's not obvious from the trailers, but at least enough so that people don't have to blindly guess whether or not what you're going to talk about is beyond where they are in the game. You can nest multiple layers of spoilers if you feel like you can't even start asking about where you're at without them. Like for example, if you've gotten past the first bit of the game with Joey and her brother, you've just gotten swapped to Alternia and started talking to Xephos. If you've started playing as Xephos you might not have been able to get downstairs yet. If you haven't gotten to deal with the lusus and so on and so forth. I couldn't find anything to pry out his bat with so that's why I was here and got some vague spoilers as to what's coming up, oh well. |

PLEASE HELP ME WITH THE SECOND SNAKE GAME i cannot figure it out for the life of me. all the walkthroughs ive seen only say its "tricky," but like how??? every time i collect the white letters i die. i know its pattern but im dumb so please help? |

The sequence of letters is on the post it note in the upper right hand corner of the game's screen. Collect the characters in that order and you should succeed. If that doesn't work, not sure how to help you, sorry. Might be a bug. |

Hey i need some help I've turned the power back on and \got rid of the monster in the trophy room. I've figured out that you need to activate the tiger in some way, but nothing I have is working

Why is this happening and can I fix it. im not really sure, but i had an awful glitch where almost everything was invisible yet i could interact with it. i reinstalled and it worked fine. if you dont know how to reinstall from steam, right click on hiveswap and clear the data. that uninstalls it. then download again. hope it helps |

Go into the basement and head to the back. There's some things in the way. If you want to know how to move that stuff: Use your tap shoes on it. By the way, you don't have to make a new post for every person you quote. You can copy the text and paste it into one window. Or you can use the edit button to add it into an old post after the fact. I don't think that's an official rule on that or anything, but it helps with clutter. Just letting you know  |

That sounds like an unfortunate glitch. Maybe try loading a save before you get to that room and see if it's fixed? Also double check to make sure you don't have the bowl. At that point in the game you start to have enough items that you need to scroll the sylladex left and right to see all of them. |
