I am one of the most frequent guests and have made some text fanventures, so please include me!

I'm sorry, but guests and grey-faces are not suitable to get a forumsona.
The point of a forumsona is to show who you are online, so if you're a guest you're not showing anything. That's that :/

But yeah. The first updates are ready, and I hope we manage to get a regular enough schedule.

It all began on a moonlit night, by a warm summer.
There was no wind to upset the blooming branches or the softly wavering grass, no rain to disturb the flight of nearby birds. The pond's water was rippling slightly, its surface glimmering with stars. The only sounds coming from this calm landscape were the chirps of the crickets and the song of wild owls. No signs of human life to upturn the peace and quiet of the night.
And yet...


And yet, there was danger. An invisible threat, pursuing one of the denizens of this forest. Something that could probably kill this creature if it had the chance; but said chance it would never get, for that mysterious animal was way too fast.


From between the shadows of the large oaks, his intriguing silhouette could be seen, something akin to both beast and man. A creature of mystery, a child of the wild whose existence could have been considered a crime against the very laws of nature.
Between the trees he was running, running his life away, to get out of the reach of his pursuer. Could the predator catch up to him? Could it devour him on the spot, or would he manage to run away in time? His life was nothing but such questions of survival. In those woods, he was in perpetual danger, but he would never be its victim.


At this thought, his face twists in a confident smile.


Monster he may be, but creature of the woods he sure is. In no time, he makes use of his agility to climb into the upper branches of a redwood tree, away from any upcoming threat. He knows these woods as if he was born there, and he knows he'll be safe, here where no bushtiger or other predator could get him.


Perched on one of the highest branches, he watches the grass below, wary of potential predators. Luckily, there are none in sight. This is a relief: those woods are usually filled with vicious beasts, ready to chomp down on innocent rodents and humans alike. But tonight is a night of peace, as all bushtigers are asleep.
However, this raises a question...


If predators are all asleep, then why was that boy running away in the first place? Could it all be a pathetic attempt to start this story on a somewhat adventurous note, to distract the reader from noticing this character is but a useless furry freak?
And what is with this narration style, anyway? What do you think it is, some third-rate novel about adventures and fantasy? You switch back to second-person narrative this instant! Such tomfoolery could be worth an immediate nope out!
For the sake of convenient storytelling, you decide to drop third person altogether. It would be too confusing.
And instead of pointlessly running around, you decide to go home and properly introduce yourself.


Your name is Karmyn Blades, and you sure are weird.
You tend to do a lot of things people don't understand, but it's fine. After all, you're just a regular teenager. Even if you have squirrel body parts; after all, it's not uncommon in your world for some people to have oddities here and there. Heck, one of your friends has vampire wings and a questionable fashion sense, so you guess you've been lucky enough to end up with pointy ears and a fluffy tail. It makes you look cute, and everyone loves cute things. (Or at least that's what you've been told.) You also live in the woods, because why not. Something about nature calling you.
The truth is, you couldn't sleep that night, and decided to go for a walk. But you've got a reason: tomorrow will be a great day, something you've been so excited for, that you couldn't rest for a single minute. You've been planning this things for weeks now, and you hope it will turn out well.
Good thing you're not alone on this.
Due to timezone discrepancy, your collaborators on the other side of the world must be awake right now. And you kind of feel alone after your solitary run, so why not chat a little and see how your collab project is going?






Here is the beginning! The next scene can be done by whoever fist calls dibs on it.

You take your laptop, a pack of mixed nuts, and go to sit on the other side of the room.
It's quite a nice house you have there. Built it yourself. It's like a big safe treehouse, with running water and electricity, a stable Internet connection and all sorts of this fancy stuff they have in town. You're quite the tinker.


You decide to have a look at this convenient chat app named Discord. It's where you've been discussing about your project for the past weeks, with all sort of people as eccentric as you are. Well, maybe not so eccentric.



Yep. Truly great friends.

Yeah, that's only natural. I am more impressed that you even put this together, group fics like this usually fall apart during preproduction.

We'll be dealing with some delay problems for the next updates.
