Indeed it is, this was incredible and it made me sad that the last few big events weren't gonna be seen, and also that the individual side plots weren't gonna be wrapped up.

As much as I want to grow as an author and get away from Homestuck, for multiple reasons, I started to miss doing Hexane. Plus, I want to demonstrate that it's really not hard to write a good ending if you're a halfway-competent writer. |

Yeah, I understand wanting to move away, you had a good story though, and I'm glad you cane back to it.
Although endings aren't always easy, if I really have to make an in depth analysis of Honestuck's ending not working, my guess would be that Hussie never learned how to kill his darlings as the guys at writing excuses would say.
To be a little honest, the ending you had outlined in your summary felt a little empty on not having certain necessary plot points before leading up to it (the exiles weren't mentioned once, and the way Vey finally gets defeated feels a bit sudden. ) but I figure that since you've actually got time to plan out the pacing, everything will get covered a bit better than in the infodump.
But I digress.

Yep! I totally get your complaint about Hexane's original ending. Rest assured, one of the reasons I took it down (aside from spoiling people who hadn't gotten to the end now that it's not actually over... again?) was because I decided the same thing and that I needed to flesh out the rest of the story some more. You (probably) won't be disappointed.

As a side note, I do believe this thread doesn't actually belong in the cradle. Hexane is one of the biggest fanventures in existence, even if the thread for it here is just barely coming up. I would recommend asking for it to be moved out.

If by prologue, you mean Dungeons of Sunnydale, then yes, I have had at least twenty people tell me that. Unfortunately, the person who wrote the second half of DoS took down the pictures for some reason or another and I didn't have them backed up on my computer. Unless I can get in contact with him, there's nothing I can do, and believe me, I've tried. I will not be responding to this complaint again.
