Dreamscape
It is the 16th solar cycle of the second millennium in the season of harvest. A young carbon-based lifeform awakens, though not of their own volition. Having just docked with a refueling ship that very morning, they were late to begin work that day, finding stuff, selling stuff, the usual. It was a fine enough job for them. But for all of the complacency that they had with their job, they had yet to have one thing. The most important thing, arguably. A name.

sucking in matter and producing 4th dimensional Caulk.
You now have about 30% of a functioning game here! Oh yeah, you also found a piece of string… no reason for it to be there.
You just chalk it up to the forbidden magics of the inventory and loop it around your finger. |

You now have a Broken Dull Obsidian Knife.

as you don’t actually touch things when you put them in your inventory,
but your locker is made of pure steel, so probably pretty heavy
