(Warning: the following is satire and not meant to be taken seriously)
I have a confession to make.
I suspect we are completely wrong about who fanventure authors should take inspiration from. For so long, they have looked upon the works of Andrew Hussie as their main source of guidance. Emulating his style, copy-pasting intros, using his universe, a large majority of fanventures have borrowed much from our founder. Others tried to separate themselves from the Huss of Lips by creating their own style and trying to be original. I was one of the latter, until I went on the Hexane discord. It was there that I saw the brilliance of the writer of Hexane, which I will call the "One True Fancomic" from now on, may its glory shine forever. I, being naive at the time, tried to distract and corrupt InspiredSimji with my ideas about my own ill-conceived future fancomic, Transhelion, as well as corrupting thoughts about an altered video game adaption which, as I know now, would inevitably taint it forever (I thought I was making it more interesting and exploring the concept of "Sburb as the Matrix", but obviously those ideas are ridiculous now). It was there that IS forever banished my misconceptions and revealed to me the truth: that, and I quote, "nothing you will make will ever be as good as Hexane." This truth was not initially accepted by me, and he was forced to strike me down with his mighty banhammer. However, I soon realized the folly of my misunderstanding. I realized that Hexane is undoubtedly the best fanventure ever. Yes, really! Thanks to the guiding light of InspiredSimji, the One True Fancomic is the exemplar of fanventures. I now bring my proposition: that from now own every fanventure author should try to imitate Hexane as much as possible and consider IS to be their Spiritual Liege. I know that some renegades may attempt to display "originality," but I hope that they will be greatly out-shadowed by true adherents. However, there is another important point to make. All true adherents of fanventuredom and the One True Fancomic must understand a fact: that the creation of the Founder and Corpse-Emperor Hussie is bad and anything that is based off of it is automatically corrupted even though the first five acts may have drawn us into this mess in the first place and the One True Fancomic was originally derived from Hussie's foul writing. Adherents must also emulate their Spiritual Liege in non-fanventure matters by seeing anything that offends the wise sensibilities of (singular) them as vile heresy, and attack not just the concept but the very heretic that brings fourth such disgusting utterances with pure, incorruptible zeal. This is the way of InspiredSimji, blessed is he, and with his help we shall depose the Corpse-Emperor and replace it with the worship of the One True Fancomic. May the light of our Spiritual Liege shine forever.
