Well, I'm Outis and I started reading Homestuck back in 2014 during gigapause. I joined MSPAF much later in 2015 and I wasn't active there for like 6 months.
Also I'm working on fan project for 4/13: web player inspired by Fresh Jamz flash (links in signature).

hello, i'm william! been following HS since early 2013 and i started posting in the old forums around that time too. back in mspaforums i mostly spent my time making different contexts (most of which i've mirrored here!) and posting various drawings (which you can find here). i also make youtube poops sometimes.  |

I wasn't active on the forums before now, I mainly made this account because I'm putting off my homework. I make sprites and unoriginal theories. I wanted to put something witty here, maybe with a strikethrough, those are popular with the kids these days. I'm drawing a blank.

When the forums were new, I was absolutely everywhere. Until they grew too big to keep up with, I read EVERYTHING. Probably why they eventually voted me, Drillgorg and... oh man, who was the third person, I've forgotten. We were the MSPAFA section mods; the third person kinda disappeared after not very long. Then by the time the trolls were introduced and the whole thing exploded into a huge thing, I'd mostly scaled back my attention to the media forums and my own adventures (Open Canvas, Yousugo and -Mowz= in order of creation and how much anyone might remember them) which I gradually stopped updating when real life started to weigh on me and I started to lose momentum.
When the various pauses started to dwindle the fandom, I basically went into lurk mode, relegating myself to a regular forumgoer who mostly just kept up with the Media Discussion, Games and Webcomics sections. I've mostly been hanging out on Derpibooru and lately the Awkward Zombie forums to help fill the gap in my internet browsing and chatting routines.

i'm bio-labs on tumblr (used to be redglare) and i've been in the fandom for about 5 1/2~6 years?? i don't remember tbh.
prince of doom from the land of melody & dismay,
patron trolls are nepeta and kanaya (leo/virgo cusp), and "canon" patron is aradia.
vriska is my waifu.
but yeah fandoms outside of homestuck include ragnarök online, splatoon, miraculous ladybug, hatoful boyfriend, steven universe, gravity falls, the legend of zelda, pokemon, and some other stuff.

Hey! I'm Adept, I was active to some extent on the original forums forever ago, mostly just posted in fan adventures and watched the discussion threads explode whenever there was an update and stuff. Did still like lurking around some though, and probably doing more of that here! Glad we at least have these forums in the interim until whatever is done with the original forums ends up being finished.

i got into homestuck in february of last year
and a while after that, i began reading fan adventures and lurking the forum. however i only made an account like a month or less before the forum died (i was 'Dead Dave')
so... i guess i sorta know most you guys, but i doubt you know me.

Agh why did I say that, everyone can see my username anyway.I don't talk/post as much as I feel I probably should, and I do several fanventures: Synodic Reboot (Sverb fansession featuring adlets), Sweet Hella Quest (probably self-explanatory), and Runecrossed (dragons going on adventures in space... but they haven't exactly started their adventure yet because it's still in its Prologue). If there's one of them you might remember, it's Sweet Hella Quest. And if there's one you probably don't remember, it's Runecrossed, which has been on a bit of a hiatus for quite a while. I still don't intend to let it die off, though. Anyway, not really sure what else to say about myself off the top of my head, so hey everyone. |

I usually spent my time around the fanadventures thread offering little to no contributions in terms of social interraction or discussion of Homestuck updates. In a way I guess you could say I'm 'SO SORRY.'
Anyways, I liked making fanadventures but scrapped them because my art skills get better over time and I can't help but look back at how ugly they were. Not to mention procrastination, distractions, loss of interest, etc.
Currently trying to learn how Synfig works so I can make animations for my fanadventures and whatnot. Basically just do things for fun... Aaaand that's about it. Great to see you guys again btw! It's a shame the forums went kaput. Especially since Homestuck kinda... Finished while it was down.

Was on the old forums with the same name but never really posted much. Started reading when the Homestuck Beta launched, started lurking the forums after the suggestion box blew up at the End of Act 1, and finally joined the forums in November, 2009. Still didn't post much because I felt I didn't belong with all the /cool dudes/ of the forum so I mostly just lurked. |

Betelgeuse, Michael (Firman), tynic, byron were the original admin squad and all familiar faces from Hussie's pre-MSPAF web community.
Allislost, Wesley Foxx, and SleepingOrange were the original MSPAFA moderators. The latter was about the only dude who stayed around the community in any appreciable capacity.
Forapocalypse (transition of forum software from phpBB to vBulletin) happens; NotASenator becomes an administrator. The admins, who up to this point had been known to step in and make judgement calls during contentious threads, delegate most of that from thenceforth to NotASenator. For a guy who was literally doing computer stuff as a favour and ended up being the party face and playing host to a rapidly-expanding fandom with a lot of young folks, he did his best tbh.
Drillgorg and Esrever were either moderators some time before said Forapocalypse or shortly after, as the forum software "up"grade was to cope with increased traffic to the site thanks to approaching Peak Homestuck.
Zuki Blueberry and Schazer also achieved modhood around this time.
I know some other names of later moderators like Solaris and Kieros and ProfessorLizzard, but I kinda checked out of the forums by that point beyond following friends' forum adventures so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

We basically spread out across the forum so that each section had at least one active modmin paying attention to it because up around the time of Cascade there was no reasonable way for anyone to keep an eye on more than that, beyond people taking turns jumping into the reports and approvals queues to try and whack-a-mole some problems down temporarily.

I had an MSPAF account but it's probably better of deleted in my case. My interest has been revived because of its ending.

I went by Captain Combusken back on good ol' MSPAF, but over the years I've dropped the penis chicken moniker for a more general pirate leader name. I was primarily a lurker on MSPAF, but I did participate in some Forum Adventure fun, as well as a couple of others areas now and then. I imagine that those on this forum who already know me probably do so more from the skype chats I was a part of than the forum.
But yeah. Hi.
