I thought having a collaborative thread for finding achievements would be a good idea. I'll update this post as I play through the game and find more, and when someone posts achievements I haven't found yet.
Required: >OVER? BUT WE JUST STARTED! - Contact Jude on the walkie talkie >IT WASN'T LOCKED - Leave Joey's room >LIGHT WEAPONRY - Put D-cell batteries in flashlight >STEP UP - Win first STRIFE >NA NA NA NA, HEY YOU - Be Jude >THIRD TIME'S THE CHARM - Sent marbles over >FEATHERY DOOFUS ACQUIRED - Get pigeon >WHY'S IT EVEN LOCKED - Get attic key >SIGNATURE STYLE AND FLARE - Have Jude provide distraction >NOW WHAT IN THE HELL IS GOING ON IN HERE - Enter attic
Optional: >BIRDGEONING TALENT - Use pigeon on piano >NO. THEY'RE YOURS NOW - Try to put E-cell batteries back into universal remote >THEY'RE STUFFED - Try to feed pet treats to deer in trophy room (might need to do this to all stuffed animals in the house) >SURELY HE HAS SOME ADDITIONAL PURPOSE - Use pigeon on random stuff (30 times I think) >MAY I HAVE THIS DANCE? - Use ballet shoes on hulu girl in basement >HOPE SPRINGS ETERNAL - Use ballet shoes on slinky on attic stairs >WHERE THEY BELONG - Try to throw pogs in kitchen trash

i'm assuming you get BOROS from continuing act 2 with an act 1 complete save file

Alright, I got all the achievements, so here's the complete list. This incorporates the contributions provided in this thread already, the ones in bold are my own additions. Oh, and spoiler warning, obviously. I'm also gonna reorder them in the approximate order you should be able to accomplish them through the course of the game. Standard ones will be unavoidable. Ones in italics will be optional ones. Okay, here we go.: >OVER? BUT WE JUST STARTED! - Contact Jude on the walkie talkie >IT WASN'T LOCKED - Leave Joey's room >DON'T ENCOURAGE HIM - use pet treat on Bubsy poster >HOPE SPRINGS ETERNAL - Use ballet shoes on slinky on attic stairs >NO. THEY'RE YOURS NOW - Try to put E-cell batteries back into universal remote >WHERE THEY BELONG - Try to throw pogs in kitchen trash>LIGHT WEAPONRY - Put D-cell batteries in flashlight >MAY I HAVE THIS DANCE? - Use ballet shoes on hulu girl in basement>STEP UP - Win first STRIFE >PERIOD-APPROPRIATE REFERENCES - use pogs on fax machine after power is on >THEY'RE STUFFED - Try to feed pet treats to deer in trophy room (might need to do this to all stuffed animals in the house)>NA NA NA NA, HEY YOU - Be Jude >ACTIVITY RECORDED - look through the window behind Jude's desk, examine encroaching cultists >SEQUENCE BREAKER - use loaded flare gun on mysterious mansion behind cultists >RED AND GREEN HERRING - put two cat eye marbles in the bag I think?>THIRD TIME'S THE CHARM - Sent marbles over >FEATHERY DOOFUS ACQUIRED - Get pigeon >BIRDGEONING TALENT - Use pigeon on piano >SURELY HE HAS SOME ADDITIONAL PURPOSE - Use pigeon on random stuff (30 times I think)>WHY'S IT EVEN LOCKED - Get attic key >THE LONG GONEBIRDS - examine the birdcage in Jude's house after all the birds are gone>SIGNATURE STYLE AND FLARE - Have Jude provide distraction >NOW WHAT IN THE HELL IS GOING ON IN HERE - Enter attic >SERIOUSLY, DON'T EAT THE MUMMY. - use the magic spice mix on the mummy in the attic (on the left past the big open box)>ACCIDENTAL ASTRONAUT - I think you get this while talking to Xefros for the first or second time >S E R P E N T - beat the first Serpent security game>MELODIOUS CHIRPS AND TONGUE-CLICKS - Tell Xefros you have eyes and tentacles when he asks what you are in your chats.>LET THE RUMPUS COMMENCE - be Xefros >CONVEXED - use the bent spoon on the bent spoon pile I think? >THAT'S YOUR CUE - get the cuebat >PLAYING WITH POWER - use the cuebat with the arena stickball manual I'm pretty sure >TREAT TIME - get the sloth treats >RUBBLE LEADER - get Xefros outside >IT'S A LIVING - get Joey into Dammek's living room?>VENT FRUSTATION - Put the pigeon in the vent.>G R U B B _ _ S - beat the second Serpent security game >JUNIOR VETERINARIAN - I'm not sure but you might have to use Byers with every animal-based item?* >GOOD DEER. BEAST FRIEND. - heal Dammek's lusus >INSUFFERABLE ZOOSMELL - Name deercat and slothdad. I think you get these even if you use the default names? >HEAL THE DEERCAT. BE THE RIDER. - ride Dammek's lusus >SAVE XEFROS - save Xefros>BATTER LUCK NEXT TIME - finish Act 1. I think you don't get this one if you finish with the E batteries? I'm not sure about that. >CELL YOU LATER - Get the batteries from the walkman and don't use them the entire game. >BOROS - "Picked up where you'll leave off."***I know I used him on the medkit in Joey's room and the alien medkit you get in Dammek's hive, and I don't think either of those are when I got the achievement. He also has a line for using him with the big book of beasts. But weirdly, I want to say I used the empty bowl on him, and that's when I got the achievement. Very unsure of this one in general. Would appreciate some more concrete information on this one if available.
**I haven't gotten >BOROS, and neither has anyone else. It's very likely this achievement only unlocks when you play one of the companions to this game. I'm thinking it'd be Act 1 of Hauntswitch, where you'll play from Dammek's perspective and essentially go through these locations backward. I've heard talk before that the companion achievement in that game to this one would be called >OURO, as in Ouroboros. I don't know if that was mentioned anywhere on any kind of official basis or if that's just a fan theory, though.

My guess regarding >BOROS would be that you'd get it after completing the rest of the games, causing some sort of time-loop in the narrative, and finishing chronospacially around where the game begins, getting the >OURO achievement at the very end. Sorta like the "Isn't this where..." ... "... we came in?" from Pink Floyd's The Wall (and probably lots of other media), like.
