So, TL;DR, two or so years ago there was a very active lobby on Epic Mafia where people would play Homestuck themed Mafia games. For those that don't know, Epic Mafia is a very streamlined way to play Mafia, kind of like Town of Salem but more organized (and with less annoying flash animations that kill my laptop). It has 'decks', which assign avatar / username sets to everyone in a game, which the HSMaf lobby exploited to play Homestuck Mafia games. They were all fairly casual, you were never obligated to roleplay, but there were always the few people who did, often with extremely comedic results.
Anyway, the lobby is fairly dead now, has people posting every month or so, but me and about a half dozen other people have been talking about trying to get an active playerbase for it again. Which shouldn't be too hard, because once we start getting active games up again, we should be able to get some of the regulars from way back when back as well. We only need 5 people to be able to start a game, though once we get to 8+ we can start using fairly interesting setups. At 10+ we could do stuff like double mafias, etc.
Is anyone interested in the idea? I'm planning to use a Discord server to organize games if we have enough interested players.
We've got a rudimentary server up for a few interested players I have. For now we'll probably run games in the main lobby, with a few randoms to fill out our games, but once we have more players we could do HS player only lobbies.
