Minebent is a roleplay based minecraft server based around the characters of a popular webcomic called Homestuck. We got our start in 2013, and have been going on since!

On Minebent, you’ll be a ghost in a still standing dream bubble, and will be free to play survival Minecraft with some additional homestuck-themed addons and events. We look forward to seeing you there!
Act I - Act II
At this point in the narrative I’m honestly unsure of what was going on, it seems lost to time almost. Something to do with Vriska playing video games that I’m sure won’t be important at any point later on. Moving on to the parts you care about.
Act III
Somewhere, deep in the veil, amongst the sea of eldritch gods, in a dream bubble, in a small section of thought, was Caliborn. Yes your favorite Caliborn. Here, alongside a rather fun loving and rap savvy robot, he ruled a land of peace and prosperity.

That was a really terrible recap, and you know that no one is going to read the “deep and intricate lore” it doesn’t matter. They are going to be busy shipping their characters together while building a dirt hut. God the thought of it makes me excited.
WHAT THE FuCK DOES THAT EVEN MEAN? STOP ACTING LIKE YOu KNOW THINGS YOu JACKASS.
[1] Once you take a character you have 2 DAYS to get on the server as them. Once those days are up the character is free again.
[2] If an admin or other players notice a lack of activity, we'll contact you and if you don't feel that you can be on the server and participate you'll be unwhitelisted.
[3] Don't be a jerk, have fun. Use your common sense. Don't take stuff out of chests that aren't yours without asking, if you take crops that aren't yours replant them, etc, etc.
[4] Speaking OOC (Out of Character) is using 2 brackets. Ex: ((Woaw bwee)). Whispering IC (In Character) is only with one. Ex: (Did you see what happened last week?)
[5] While OOC is allowed on the server, please don't random ooc. It makes it very hard to stay rping when lots of OOC is going on. If you want to have a random chat about anything other then the server, I highly suggest posting on a forum or discord. Server related OOC is taken much better.
[6] If you want a character, please post the application on the comment section, or you can pm us with the application found in the Server tip section. We will add you to the whitelist and reply to you. This can take anywhere from a few minutes to hours. Pester us on discord if you want be added faster.
[7] You must use a skin of your character. Other characters see what you are wearing. If you log onto the server with a skin that is not your character, you will be kicked.
[8] If you get unwhitelisted due to being inactive, you will have to wait a week before reapplying.
[9] If you take a character and join the server, roleplay! I can't believe I have to add this as a rule, but if you're showing inactivity or not rping at all, you're going to get unwhitelisted. If you feel like a character isn't rping, pm us on discord, minecraft, or the forums to lodge a complaint.
[10] You must put in a minimum of three hours per week on the server. Those who cannot will be talked to, and if improvement cannot be reached, they may be unwhitelisted.
Alternate Characters [Alting!]
If you ever get bored with your current character, you can always ask an Admin to switch (please don’t switch without asking first, it makes it hectic to keep track of who is who.) Switching however, means you give up your previous character so someone else can have it!
If you don’t want to do that, you can Alt! Alting is basically temporarily switching characters, while still having dibs on your previous one, you can alt for up to a week before switching, and you’ve got to wait three days between alting to alt again! (Unless an admin says otherwise.)
If someone joins the server while you are alting, and requests to play the character you’re alting to, they get dibs and you’ve got to switch off, just to keep it fair.
Wanting to alt? Just ask an Admin on server or in PMs to do so, good luck!
