HOMESTUCK^2: BEYOND CANON
Some people have heard about this already but it felt to me worth making a new thread for. Personally, I'm THRILLED FOR IT!!!! I was always going to be. I've been utterly obsessed with Homestuck for as long as I've been reading it. I haven't grown tired of it no matter what turns it's taken, including this one. I'll be eagerly awaiting every next update much as I've always done, and if I can I'll probably be talking about it here, if this place isn't formally and completely dead at least.
Ultimately, I can sympathize with anyone who's well and fully disillusioned by now, after everything that's changed so much. Me, I can't wait to see where things go, and I'll be there for it all.

You know, the longer and longer Homestuck goes on for, the less and less interested I get, which is a shame because it used to be one of my favorite comics. Is it bad to say I just want it to die already?
No, it certainly isn't bad for you to say that. I feel the same. Homestuck 2 just feels like Huss desperately trying to justify the Epilogues and the end of Homestuck. It, honestly, should just end and I hope Homestuck 2 is just really short.I don't want this, and I doubt it will be. I don't see it the same way. But at the same time, the epilogues and ^2 don't frame themselves as required reading. I think if you want to get off at the end of Act 7, you're "allowed to," whatever that term might mean in a situation like this. I guess it means you don't really have to follow the story and pay it any mind if you don't want to. Though I've been through this argument before and I understand having its own website and support + collaboration with Andrew puts it in a strange space.
