1. What is this?
Homestuck, and all of its official related material (the canonical Paradox Space comics, the snaps, The Homestuck Epilogues, and Homestuck^2), provide for an incredibly big narrative, with more than 100 characters. More than 200 if you count the separate iterations of these characters.
Years ago, I set out with 2 goals:
1) I want to find out how long Homestuck actually is, when seen through the eyes of a specific character. Which characters have been through the most in this story?
2) I want to show what Homestuck looks like, chronologically, from the perspective of each character, as faithfully as possible.
The 1st goal is reached. The 2nd goal is still fully in progress.
I will use this thread to share the results.
2. How did you do this?
1) First I determined all 271 unique distinguishable (instances of) characters, for whom it’s actually clear what their ‘story’ is. So, I’m very sorry to all fans of Doomed Equius #4583 but he’s not on this list.
2) I've put all characters in a list, ordered by page count, from highest to lowest.
3) What do I count as 1 page for 1 character? Any page of Homestuck/Homestuck^2, one block of narration or dialogue in the Homestuck Epilogues, any panel in a canonical (written by Andrew Hussie) PXS comic, one snap, as long as this is something that character “experienced”. Experienced in this case means, the panel shows things they are seeing, the narration is addressed to them or describing events that involve them, or they participate in/read/hear the pesterlog/dialoglog of that page.
3. So how long is Homestuck from each character's perspective?

3. Can I see for myself what Homestuck looks like from these character's perspectives?
Yes you can!
In the above list, you'll find a hyperlink for some characters, linking to Mspfanventures where you can find their entire chronological experience.
When I complete more characters, I will post about it in this thread and update the links.
4. Can I suggest which character I'd like to see you do next?
As a matter of fact, you can!
I've opened a suggestion box, where you can submit an idea (by clicking the + button at the bottom) or vote/rate an existing one. And I will pick the one with the highest amount of votes to do next! No need to create an account on this website, you can perfectly submit a suggestion anonymously!
You don't have to be specific if you don't want to, you can also be more general, and I'll count those together with the specific votes.
So for example, let’s say 4 persons suggest Feferi Peixes, 3 suggest Sollux Captor, 5 suggest Meenah Peixes, and 3 suggest “any A2 Troll”. This doesn’t mean Meenah would win, because I’d add those 3 general “any A2 Troll” votes to Sollux and Feferi’s totals, which would mean Feferi wins!
When I've picked one, I will remove that suggestion and the other ones will remain so you can continue voting on those or adding new suggestions!
5. FAQ
1) How often do you add new characters?
I work on this project for one full week, followed by two weeks of pause (where I do other things), and repeat.
And of course, how fast I finish these also depends a lot on how many pages I have to go through to upload
2) How do you handle paid content? (Homestuck^2 bonus stories)
In the Mspfanventure, I will include the commands of these pages, but not the panels, narration or dialog. Instead I will link to the page on homestuck2.com, where anyone who is a patron can see the corresponding page.
2) What about Hiveswap? Or Problem Sleuth (now that they're canon through Homestuck^2's bonus stories)?
That's on my TODO list to update these pagecounts and Mspfanventures with those appearances as well! For Hiveswap though, keep in mind that at most I'll just include the photographs Grandpa and Mom appear in.
Not much of a point in tackling the Hiveswap-original characters because all I'd be doing there is simply link to a place where you can buy Hiveswap to check out the rest of the content from those character's perspectives
Unless they ever do appear in other canonical free material though! Then I'll be including them.

Yes you can!
In the above list, you'll find a hyperlink for some characters, linking to Mspfanventures where you can find their entire chronological experience.
When I complete more characters, I will post about it in this thread and update the links.
4. Can I suggest which character I'd like to see you do next?
As a matter of fact, you can!
I've opened a suggestion box, where you can submit an idea (by clicking the + button at the bottom) or vote/rate an existing one. And I will pick the one with the highest amount of votes to do next! No need to create an account on this website, you can perfectly submit a suggestion anonymously!
You don't have to be specific if you don't want to, you can also be more general, and I'll count those together with the specific votes.
So for example, let’s say 4 persons suggest Feferi Peixes, 3 suggest Sollux Captor, 5 suggest Meenah Peixes, and 3 suggest “any A2 Troll”. This doesn’t mean Meenah would win, because I’d add those 3 general “any A2 Troll” votes to Sollux and Feferi’s totals, which would mean Feferi wins!
When I've picked one, I will remove that suggestion and the other ones will remain so you can continue voting on those or adding new suggestions!
5. FAQ
1) How often do you add new characters?
I work on this project for one full week, followed by two weeks of pause (where I do other things), and repeat.
And of course, how fast I finish these also depends a lot on how many pages I have to go through to upload
2) How do you handle paid content? (Homestuck^2 bonus stories)
In the Mspfanventure, I will include the commands of these pages, but not the panels, narration or dialog. Instead I will link to the page on homestuck2.com, where anyone who is a patron can see the corresponding page.
2) What about Hiveswap? Or Problem Sleuth (now that they're canon through Homestuck^2's bonus stories)?
That's on my TODO list to update these pagecounts and Mspfanventures with those appearances as well! For Hiveswap though, keep in mind that at most I'll just include the photographs Grandpa and Mom appear in.
Not much of a point in tackling the Hiveswap-original characters because all I'd be doing there is simply link to a place where you can buy Hiveswap to check out the rest of the content from those character's perspectives
Unless they ever do appear in other canonical free material though! Then I'll be including them.
