1024 characters. I was being quite insane when i thought up of it, And i was wondering if it was actually possible. Ignoring pictures (It would be text-based because i suck at MSpaint), How would a 1024-character FA play out? Is this too big for my own good? Reply in the comment section down below :L (I have no idea if this is the right place, my gut just drew me to this place, If this isn't the right place, I'm sorry mods)

Needs to be at least 2048 characters. Or better yet, 4096. There's just not much you can do with only 1024 personalities.

Well, good luck with giving each of them a name and a personality. The obvious risk is, you may not give them enough screentime/development/touch with the reader. But then, it depends on whether you want all of them to be main stars, or if you plan a small number to have the spotlight and the rest to be minor/background characters. Homestuck has hundreds of characters, but the Felt members don't have the same status as the Trolls, let's say. That's a way to put it. Another point is interaction between characters. If again, you want all of them to be in the spotlight, keeping track of relations and links will be a hell: only counting two-way relationships, you'll end up with 1047552 bonds to consider (1048576 if characters can be friends with themselves). Of course, if you plan to have a major-minor-background dynamic, then 1024 charas would be less scary. You can give background charas very quick descriptions: grandma next door, silly baker, grumpy fisherman, town's fool, etc. All of them don't have to interact with each other, of course. Still. That's a lot. especially if you plan to give them unique personalities. I don't know how anyone can come up with a thousand unique people. Even if I add my own OCs to Homestuck's charas, as well as cameos and scrapped ones, I don't think I'm anywhere near that bar.
But if you wanna do it, go ahead. That sounds crazy but someone has to do it. That might be the weirdest Sburb session ever (if it is one).

Well, it kinda works like this: Basically, some session completes there planet-quest things, Then one of them gets commanded by there denizen to "Help another group get into the session" So they hone in on the respective universe, and help the group enter the session. THOSE people complete there planet quest(s), But then have to build a "Link Tower" From the grist hoards instead of helping the frog grow. The two sessions link, And then the session that got linked to the original session, Help another group, So on, So fourth. Eventually in the grande finally The sessions team up and take on the big-baddie I haven't gotten to deep into this yet. SpottedBlades . I will consider it. imglasses , It could quickly escalate to that. Fuck it it may be a Fan adventure that never ends. And SpottedBlades, Is that a chumhandle?

Unless a majority of these characters are minor ones, then this idea could quickly fall on its face

Well, There would be max 4-8 major characters at any time, with the other previously-linked major characters be chumhandles or some crap.

That's fine. I can blame myself for being #NotOriginal. Unlike you with that Fanventure idea.

Chumhandles have their first word non-capitalized, but don't worry about it.

Should i go ahead and post in the cradle, or should i wait for more input? *Nudges Sharkalien * I mean, if you have a good idea of where you're going with this, then sure. But there's no harm in waiting a little longer

There's something called being wrecked and something called being absolutely destroyed. Sharkalien was the latter.
But anyways, yeaaaah I don't feel like this will go TOO well, but make a attempt anyways.

Eventually in the grande finally The sessions team up and take on the big-baddie I haven't gotten to deep into this yet. ... Ok, but let me put this into perspective: For each session you have to introduce ther characters, get them into the game, have them complete the game, then have them called in to assist the next. That takes a long time, especially if you want to add in enough stuff to make each session unique rather than just repeating the same thing over and over again, not to mention creating every single unique character. But let's say you're a god at this and do each session in a week. For 1024 people that's 256 sessions. 256*7=1792, 1792/365 ≈ 4.9. That means it will take you 5 years to complete this adventure (that .1 extra can go to the final confrontation, though good luck getting all of that in about 35 days...). (For reference, at 5 years since starting, Homestuck was on the Gigapause.) And that's only if you can not only somehow manage to cram each session into a week, but also work without a single hiatus. Good luck.
