You CHECK the green blob, and as it turns out, it is a Ybolb. Sadly the contrary, putting it backwards, would spell Bloby. Whoops. Well, you guess Ybbolb would have been a bit worse. In any case, it has nearly the same stats that you do, except with significantly lesser health points.

Since you took your turn CHECKing the Ybolb, it attacks and you lose one health point (Ybolb's attack (2) - your defense (1) = 1)
