There will now be a convenient INVENTORY at the end of the latest update. Highlight the items for their handy information. (Tap and hold on mobile?)Teleport to the end of this adventure.
I'm ignoring that!
Stop this nonsense immediately! What did you come in here for again?
What the fuck is your problem I MEAN
I CAME HERE FOR CLOTHES...AND...TO GET MY BAG.
...
Put on a trench coat and a hat that screams "DETECTIVE"
Sure. Will do. But first, let me put these things away in my bag. And then let me get my phone from the side pocket -- I need the camera to actually see what's in my closet.
It's a text from Whatshername. Why so soon?
...Oh god.
First of all, what am I gonna do about this? She's this robot. She goes to my school. She's kind of abrasive. And I just want to get on this case.
Second, why did I change her name on this? Seriously, what is her name again? I swear it's on the tip of my...um...side...I don't know...something triangle-related... Maybe you would know, since you're in my mind or...something.
What am I gonna dooo... You came in here for nonsense. I came in here for nonsense I MEAN

~Just so ya know...~ I wasn't holding out just to get name suggestions. It just took a while to draw everything for the update. I started four days ago, man.
While I'm typing this, thanks to everyone for tuning in! Combine pencil, gun, and phone.
That's...quite a thing to suggest.
Would that make like a...bayonet...type...thing? Do I stab the robot with it? Will I intuitively know once I make it?
Welp, maybe you know better than me. Not gonna inquire further.
I don't have much range in terms of magic or spells, so I'm going to have to find a more creative solution.
There's this tape from my desk.
No, that's too stupid.
There's a start!
What I'm going to do is try and combine them with a rhyming spell that I will spontaneously make up.
Mom does it all the time -- maybe the yarn is her only secret.
Listen to my words divine... Pencil, gun and phone, combine!
Wow.
Alright.
It really must take natural talent to do much magic of use without a good spell, then.
Mom does this all the time. She does acts for parties. Mostly for children, but a few have been upscale.
Tried to get me on a similar magic track when I was younger, but I never got it down, mainly because my magic only seems to be good for erasing things from reality.
I don't really practice with it, and when I do, I use objects that I don't like (such as Doritos), but it's actually a really effective way to kill people.
Anyway let's get down to business again.
Her name, her name...
I feel bad for whoever we have down as "babetron 6000."
...this is feeling a bit familiar. It was something yellow. Just a little robot -- not so much, though. But definitely not country. And it was kind of Spanish, maybe.
I've got it.
Honey Baynary Mendoza.
Thank you so much.
Let's get the hell out of here.
I figure the first item I should set my eyes on is Jane Stewart, who works at the bank two blocks away. Today is Sunday, so they wouldn't be open. My hope is that Jane is just distant enough from Louie not to be in mourning...
Xavier lives in a completely different borough. I usually take the subway if I'm going to his apartment.
Then there's this bowling thing. I don't even care, but I should probably ask you for asking's sake. What am I going to do about Honey, whom some might call my "friend de jure?"

If you know where Jane lives, it may be best to pay her a visit. Or maybe you should call first? Social etiquette is not my strong point.
I figured. Good idea, though. Let me call ahead.
...'Please leave a message?' Alright.
Hello, this is David Harvey Sigh and I work with the Sigh Private Investigation service. I want to talk to you face-to-face about the recent death of Mr. Louis Stewart. If you do not wish to see me in this time of grief, I understand completely and am fully willing to respect your privacy, so please call back or text back as soon as you can if, uhh, what I have just said is the case.
...She better not call back, though.
Sleuthing is important, but so are friends! Make time to go bowling at some point with Honey.
Sure, okay. I'll let her know. 'This afternoon should be fine. How about 2?' Which leaves me about four hours. By the time I actually get to Xavier's, though, I'll be spent.
Combine thread or yarn with phone.
...
Yarn and cell phone, hear my thunder. Merge and ne'er be rent asunder. Ugh.
See, see, look, it didn't, it didn't do anything, stop wasting my time here
WHAAAAAAAA!! This thing now has a pirated copy of some premier high-end magic functionality!!!!!
Wait, no, it's just a magic radar app. I guess that can be useful.
If anyone tries to put a hex on me in secret, I'll probably get an alert from this.
That spot in the corner is going off like crazy but that's because Mom's portrait dispenses life advice at midnight.
I swear we're moving along. LITTLE GOOFIE: The way he is drawn, he should be facing us, the readers. But that is not the case... Wo0w, what a weird! ...There's no undoing the picture in front of the closet.
