I said I'd be happy to contribute to writing if need be, I'd just prefer to not have to draw panels or rooms or anything. But if that means I can't participate that's cool I guess.
Anyway, I also have a TON of sprite sheets saved if we're saying it's alright to use pre-made parts. So I can help make a sprite for anyone if needed. Just let me know what it should look like, of course lol.

Pre-mades are welcome. And if you want to contribute through writing, it's fine as well, of course.

Oh almost forgot to mention, but would it be a good idea to have character profiles? Like a list of things to fill out about our character?
I mean unless we're all just going to be handling our own characters, it may be nice to have as a reference.

Looking at the updated OP, I now know I can stick to my pixel art style. Yay!
I should work on the angles of Plateon's room and the first panel with my forumsona in it.

we should make some sort of private online space where we can discuss what the plot will be, share art assets, and do other adventure related stuff.

Well, having character profiles would be a good idea. Something with basic data, like Name:, Likes&Dislikes:, Why do you dress like that, etc.
And this thread is said online space.
By the way, whatever plot we end up with, please don't let the beginning be "A young x stands in their room". Please.

(Decides to make a joke about that cliche because rebel.)
I don't imagine making the rooms are going to be that hard for me. I can usually create them in about ten minutes. It might be because, as I said before, I work small.

You could be a character whose only proof ox existence is the way it distorts the area around it. Like if you were looking at you you could see right through but the background would be warped and stuff.

"There's 5 boxes of little ceaser's pizza strewn around on the kitchen table. The remnants of war."
Would it be cliche to offer a hunger games/dangan ronpa plot style?

If you do some young adult dystopian shit, I'll sue *bangs pots and pans* life or death! life or death! but anyway I suppose an overly dramatic telanovella is also optional

Hey, I think I've got a plot. How about this:
A group of people, who've met through this very forum, are gathered together on the internet to create a great event, and bring life to a huge project. Something like a convention, a fan video game, a collab webcomic, whatever kids do these days. But weird shit happens and impedes them; it could be some kind of omnipotent force trying to bring members down one by one, mundane daily life problems, or maybe even their project itself... We'd meet members in their daily lives, get to know them, and know the passion they're bound through: indeed, we learn as we go that they are very different people, all bound by their one common interest that brought them to making this collab project possible...a project that may go well beyond their expectations.
We could work with the uniqueness of each member to mingle genres and storytellings. Each character's point of view could be told through different genre codes: Person A's pov could be told in a RPG style with funny stats and one-liners, Person B's narrative could be more like a 3rd person novel, Person C could live in a YA dystopia town, etc. There's a lot we could play with, but it'd need to stay coherent, so itd be used mostly as a joke or recurring gag.

Because I'm already going for that pixel art style (which is associated with games even if it doesn't sometimes), I guess I'll be the RPG style narrative?

My "point of view/storytelling process" can be whatever works best for you guys as long as it's chalk-full of my bad puns (like this one). Otherwise, it's back to the drawing board.
