Hey, I think I've got a plot. How about this: A group of people, who've met through this very forum, are gathered together on the internet to create a great event, and bring life to a huge project. Something like a convention, a fan video game, a collab webcomic, whatever kids do these days. But weird shit happens and impedes them; it could be some kind of omnipotent force trying to bring members down one by one, mundane daily life problems, or maybe even their project itself... We'd meet members in their daily lives, get to know them, and know the passion they're bound through: indeed, we learn as we go that they are very different people, all bound by their one common interest that brought them to making this collab project possible...a project that may go well beyond their expectations. We could work with the uniqueness of each member to mingle genres and storytellings. Each character's point of view could be told through different genre codes: Person A's pov could be told in a RPG style with funny stats and one-liners, Person B's narrative could be more like a 3rd person novel, Person C could live in a YA dystopia town, etc. There's a lot we could play with, but it'd need to stay coherent, so itd be used mostly as a joke or recurring gag. That actually sounds pretty good. I could help with the story too. I'm pretty good in the story writing department. |

Also carmineSanden on a more serious note if you want the absolute possible maximum level of meta I advise you check out my failed adventure ThreadStuck. It's somewhere in the cradle on the forum. I personally think the idea had potential but I got a grand total of 0 suggestions.Of course it won't work as is but I really want to see someone successfully introduce the story as the narrator of the story.

If the "big project" the charas are making ends up being a playable version of Sburb, why not. But then, the story would be more focused on the projects completion and how...something...is trying to stop them.
