MagnumMage28: Holy crap that one player was OP as shit! __xxThatOneSwordGuyxx__: I know. I didn't even manage to hit her once!
MagnumMage28: She must be some sort of Professional gamer or something! __xxThatOneSwordGuyxx__: I know right! PlatinumUmbreon: Boys...
PlatinumUmbreon: You have no idea.
You are now PlatinumUmbreon, but everyone just calls you plateon. At the current moment, you are just level-grinding on some new MMO. However, utterly dominating players is getting ever so slightly boring. Perhaps you will instead take this time to introduce yourself to an audience of dubious existance within your plane of existence.
Not at all! They're the ears you use to hear. Look, they even move around, it's so cute. Indeed, you're a weirdo; half-human to be exact. But you're not just any weirdo either.
Your name is Plateon Umbrenum. You are one of the current nine descendants of Nocteon; as such, life isn't easy every day. But as you're still young, you don't have to follow your older siblings just yet. For you, it means a life away from shrines and prayers, and focused on your main passion: gaming.
You've got all the games your generation has produced. You actively collect retro consoles and games, and you've got some rare jewels of the gaming industry nicely tucked on your very shelves. There are some universes you love so much, you started getting into their fandom, with cosplay and fan art. While your drawings aren't on pair with some greater artists's, you do have a lot of cosplays. You enjoy sewing, that's why now you can afford to dress as a different fictional character every day.
But your art was enough to get you into Placebound, a cool project made by your best Internet friends. And you got a lot of friends. Not as much in real life, however, what's with all the strict rules regarding your condition as a godly child.
Oh yeah, you forgot to mention you're a demigod. But that doesn't matter, does it?
You decide to get some natural lighting, but quickly remember that your room doesn't have any windows. Instead, you just turn on the lights and get a good look at your room. In one corner sits your Computer. The very same computer you were using up until just a few seconds ago. In the other corner is your bed, where, unsurprisingly to everyone, you sleep. You also have your convenient mini-fridge, and a basket for your clothes. Finally, your console gaming setup, with a Flatscreen TV, a beanbag chair, and a number of game consoles sits in the other corner.

> Plateon: Make that bed up!
You do your bed. In fact, you do it so much that your whole bedroom suddenly changes designs. Because you're hungry, you grab a pack of Poffins from your fridge. Delicious Sweet treat for your Jolly nature. You seat on your bean chair and nibble quietly. Mhhm, delicious.

Some explanations about Kane's post above.
We're doing our best to make Forumstuck into a loveable story. But as school starts and many of us are still in highschool/college, we don't really have time anymore. So we're looking for a bit of help.
We're looking for serious people with enough art experience. It's even better if you've worked or helped on existing fanventures and webcomics, or if you're familiar with the format. It's strictly voluntary and it's not supposed to make you feel like doing even more stuff: only apply if you actually have got time and motivation for it.
We're mostly looking for visual artists who can draw full panels, in hero mode or sprite mode. For sprite mode, assets can be provided; for complex panels, we'll provide drafts and references. People expect a lot from Forumstuck, so you've got to be talented enough and know how to handle a drawing software. We could also use the help of writers to help along the plot, and music composers to help on Forumstuck's Youtube channel. This can be for a one-time thing, or for a more engaged collaboration.
Again, if you don't have time to contribute or if you think Forumstuck is kind of 'meh', you don't have to apply. (but you're still free to come over to our server and have fun! you just have to say you're here for friends and chat, and you'll be free to shitpost.)
Thank you, for following the development, of Yandere Sim- I mean, Forumstuck.
>You mentioned something about being a demigod. Care to explain?
Yeah. From your mother's side. That's quite a big deal in your family, but you don't really feel like expanding on the topic. Maybe later? Or...maybe never, actually. You...really don't like talking about it. Not that being a daughter of Nocteon is a bad thing...you mean, who wouldn't be a child of the Thousand-Armed mother, the one who created the world according to Shadowist legends? It's a kick-ass thing, honestly. You're proud of it. You just wish it didn't come with the burden of someday having to take her place.
You check placebound in an attempt to change the subject, expecting there to be no new updates, but much to your surprise, the story has progressed. You also feel vaguely meta, but you couldn't possibly know why.
Mhm. You guess you can do that. It's too early to do anything productive anyway. You browse some of your favorite websites, and see nice art and useless memes. Mostly about the new Pokemon game that's just been released, Pokemon Land and Sea. And of course, everyone's talking about that one darn line of dialogue spoken by a random NPC about how much they love Rawst Berries. You guess it's funny, as always, but it's still too early. People haven't remixed enough, or included it in yet another cover of that one song from that one cartoon, like they'd do two days after the game's release. You're not as keen on memes of Disee, though. Yet Placebound is ridden with memes. Oh well, as long as it's got an audience. And good thing it has one, amirite?
Oh, that's just Neptune. Or as everyone calls her, Neptz. A fellow ESPer you've met over Pokemon roleplaying forums. She's happened to have been staying over for the night, for some sleepover you've been organizing. Just the two of you, with video games and cheap flicks, and hair/fur grooming. And lots of kisses and cuddles and stuff you don't mention in public, because that girl happens to be your girlfriend and you're very much in love. Right now, you're just too bored to do anything productive. So you lay on your bed and browse some more memes before your sister will call you down for breakfast. But you know it's nothing of a problem, since Diaspeon's pancakes are just that delicious. For now, you just enjoy some quality bonding-through-doing-almost-nothing time. Sometimes there isn't much action, but that's better than having your beloved one getting too many action at once and ending into Lunacy again, amirite? Anyway. You wonder what the folks on DeviantArt did say about the nice drawing of your OC you've posted earlier.
((sorry for the recent lack of updates. you know how it is.))
Anne Spruces is a decent OC and here's why. First of all, the image here isn't using a terrible anime base, which automatically makes it better than, like half of the world's OC's. There is quite obviously effort put into this character, though there is certainly room for improvement. The skirt doesn't quite make sense and one of the shoes is pretty wonky. Just looking at the character shows that they're a fan of the pokemon franchise, with a particular liking for espeon, and evolution of the pokemon eevee. The background is decent. It isn't immensely distracting and is set up in such a way that the focus is mainly on the actual characters. My biggest criticism here is that the left arm just looks weirdly off. All in all, 7/10 character.
While you're at it, you decide to leave some more reviews on other pictures of that Plateon girl's OC. Who knows, maybe she'll get interested in your own art and take a liking in your own OC and then your OTP will be canon to Placebound? You like to have hope. Hey, there's nothing wrong with having OTPs, is it? You can't help but feel that the ditzy, nerdy Anne Spruces would be a perfect match for the tech-savvy, tinkering Max Sjelin, and that they'd be a perfect pair. Just look at all the fanart you made of them, the same fanart you want Plateon to notice! Love's a pretty thing, and since you're still a bit young, you prefer to experience it by procuration. You may not have been properly introduced, but you don't mind. Just let it be known that your name is Kane Corrigan, that you're a very tired Regular and you supply lots of art for Placebound. You also have several Fanventures of your own, including Perfectly Great Sburb Voyage, your favorite. You like hoodies, shipping characters together, and have unhealthy sleep hours. And you're generally trying your best even though your fail a lot, but at least you try.
>Kane: Render yourself in a more appropriate manner.
Thats much better. On display in your room are your Various Interests. You have a liking for the band Gorillaz, and your favorite song is either Feel Good Inc or Clint Eastwood depending on your mood. You also practice playing guitar sometimes, though you are notably not very good at it. Usually, when you play your guitar, it ends up sounding like this. As was previously stated, you are also a contributor for Placebound, which you often draw panels for. When not working on Placebound, you can often be found practicing combat using your Bronze Sword with the guy you share this apartment with. You use a bronze sword because of your Severe Iron Allergy.
It's late in the evening, and yet you're not tired. You're a night owl, as they say, and your sleep schedule is a bit fucked up. It's just there, imprinted into your biological clock. You decide to head into the kitchen to grab a snack. You're one of these people who can eat all day without packing a single pound, so you tend to not go easy on food. It's the only guilty pleasure in life you have, anyway. That, and making ship fanart. You enjoy many things, since you're still pretty young and have your whole life without you, and take fascination in even puny things. But it's hard to seem adult without some 'grand interest' in life, like all of your friends have. You don't want to pass for a loser who stays in his room all day and makes crack ships, do you? Talking about ships, you wonder if there are any chips left. Hopefully you can grab some before someone else does...
Contrary to what one might think, it's not a monster; it's your good friend Aldred. You have no idea why he's here, or what he's doing, but you can guess that he's gone mad with boredom and has resorted counting Pringles. Pringles that you're craving to eat; it'd make no sense for him to eat them anyway. They would just fall through his hands like he were Casper, if it weren't for his metal gloves. You wonder how that armor hasn't aged a day, or even what it's made of, but you're not one to ask yourself too much. I mean, you're roommates with the guy, for fuck's sake. That very fact proves you never ask questions any other normal human would. You approach him to ask him what he's doing here, and why is he counting your chips. And if he's too busy to respond, well you'll grab some anyway, because it's 2:16am and you're hungry.
: 54, 55, 56, 57... Kane: Er, hey Al. : 61, 62, 63...that's one too many... Kane: Al. You listening? : It would mean a global mean of 60 chips per pack indeed. Must note it down... Kane: Aldred, you're doing weird stuff again. : I'm not.
Kane: What the hell man. Kane: I was going to eat those. Aldred: Oh, sorry. Kane: Know what, whatever. Kane: I'll just go get something later. Aldred: Just letting you know now, we've got sword practice tomorrow morning. Aldred: Be sure to get up early. Aldred: Which I'm sure will be difficult since its about 2 in the morning and you're still awake. Kane: Well you're still awake. Aldred: I physically can't sleep. Aldred: We've had this talk a million times. Aldred: Go to sleep! Kane: Know what, Fine.
