>GIVE ALL: CLOTHINGA variety of garments falls into neat little piles in front of your cats.
Shilla quickly stops the others before they can dive into the mass with reckless abandon, fussing over how in their current state they'd just end up getting everything dirty. She picks up some of the gauze wraps that spawned alongside the other accessories and turns them over in her hands for a moment before calling Peny over.
Using Shilla and Peny's combined knowledge of FIRST AID, MEDICINE, and ETIQUETTE, everyone sits down and cleans up using some soft sand from outside and whatever they can find in their new MEDICINE CABINET. Shilla and Peny also take a moment to carefully bandage each other's open wounds.
It takes a bit of fumbling around, but they manage. Once they finally finish, the two of them seem much perkier than before.
Feeling better (and with Shilla's blessing), your cats excitedly set upon the clothing and divide it up amongst themselves, swapping items between piles as they find what suits their tastes.
Peny is the first to finish, throwing all of her clothing into allegedly organized heaps on the ground and wrestling herself into one of the outfits.
Cheesecake and Shilla give appreciative 'ooh's and 'aah's as Peny skates around on her new wheeled boots, her outfit fluttering and sparkling around her like running water elegantly.
.. at least until her wheel catches on some stray fabric and sends her face-first into the ground. It was beautiful while it lasted.
The second outfit that Peny chooses is made of an extremely soft and flexible material, lined with fluffy fleece. It is also very easy for her to put on and take off by herself, which she adores.
She tumbles and squirms on the ground happily before digging into her last pile.
The final outfit that Peny puts together isn't deemed complete until she snags a reversible skirt from a pile of similar items that Shilla set aside from her own collection.
Peny seems to like her new sneakers especially, taking great delight in stomping around the deck, skidding to a stop, testing the grip and sound of the rubber.
Once her testing is complete, Peny declares it's a great outfit for adventuring in. She seems satisfied to keep wearing it for now.
Shilla's first outfit is a laced affair that offers both mobility and indisputable class. Shilla seems quite pleased as she looks down at herself, inspecting her buckskin pants and wool coat with open appreciation. She remarks on how nice it is to at last has some appropriate party attire.
Peny stops hanging scarves on Cheesecake to ask what a 'party' is, though she seems to become quickly overwhelmed as Shilla launches into a thorough explanation.
The next outfit Shilla shows off is made of light and breathable linens, replete with pockets full of all of the handkerchiefs she could ever need.
She beams that it is just perfect for gardening in.
Shilla settles on a good in-between for her final outfit-- not too casual, but not too dressy. It's quite flattering as well, if she says so herself.
The matching bag has also given Shilla an additional inventory, capable of storing anything that can fit within it. While it has less space than her BAG OF HOLDING, it's far easier for her to retrieve specific items from it when she needs to.
She does a little turn in front of the other cats, her jacket thrown over one shoulder.
Shilla jingles lightly in embarrassed laughter as they applaud.
Cheesecake knows
exactly what she wants to wear, and the first thing she puts together is
very fancy.
She seems enjoys the weight of all of the heavy velvet, silk chiffon, and jewelry, swishing her skirts and swinging the pearls and gold beads around her neck and wrists-- but appears to quickly become frustrated with how difficult the ensemble proves to run and sit in.
Shilla quickly helps her out of the mountain of petticoats and crinoline, suggesting that perhaps she reserve it for special occasions.
The next outfit is comparatively much quicker to put on, yet still exudes a regal aura.
Cheesecake spends some time silently admiring the large gems on her outfit before suddenly shucking out of it entirely, rushing to stow it away into a dark corner of the condo.
It takes a few attempts and both of the other cats' help to pleat, pin, and arrange the embroidered silk wrap around Cheesecake in a way similar to the directions the models give in the catalogue, but they eventually achieve it to great effect.
The dragon-type rumbles happily, twirling around and listening to the clinking of her shiny new bracelets.
>TEACH ALL: MEMESNone of the cats react overmuch to this new information, remarking amongst themselves that it seems like a useful, less time-consuming (if less comprehensive) way of TEACHING each other things.
>CREATE: COMPUTER WITH UNLIMITED INTERNETA computer is brought into existence that is capable of connecting to all corners of the internet at terrifying speeds.
...
You have no idea
where it was created, but you know it's out there.
Somewhere.
>TEACH PENY: IRONYWait, what? Dude, isn't lying, like, bad?
She still doesn't know what lying is exactly, but most of what you've taught her so far makes it seem kind of a bummer.
>TEACH ALL: HUMOUR, JOKES
Cheesecake and Shilla are delighted with this new knowledge, and the two of them end up making very rudimentary knock-knock jokes whose punch-lines tend to just be them complimenting one another.
Peny appreciates the additional context, but she still thinks it's totally not funny to lie to other people.
At they finish digesting their new knowledge and putting their things away, the cats start to chatter excitedly amongst themselves.
Since they're now dressed for the occasion, they glance around the island, pointing every which way. They all want to play and explore, but they can't agree on where they should go first or even what they need to bring with them.
Taking a look for yourself, you notice that there are five gates on the island, though only the three on the eastern half of the island boast a light atop their gates.
It seems that only these lit gates lead to the bridges that have finished weaving together for now, with the unlit western gates looking unsafe to cross.
The three lit gates are:
The north-eastern gate: whose bridge leads almost vertically down and through the tower.
It seems precarious, and neither Shilla nor Peny seem exactly eager to approach the tower just yet, but Cheesecake is extremely confident that something
amazing must be down there.
The eastern gate: whose bridge seems to lead towards some other floating islands nearby-- including the new supersmithy.
Shilla admits that she's curious to explore the other buildings you've made and acquaint herself with all of the local facilities.
And
the southern gate: which leads to the bridge that Peny and Shilla used to reach the base's island, and which now appears to connect Shilla's pond, the skatepark, and a collection of more distant islands obscured by mist.
Peny sheepishly admits that she mostly just wants to get her skateboard back, since she couldn't safely take her things with her when she went to pick up Shilla.
