Welcome to "Design The Game"!The idea with this adventure is to design a game by suggesting game mechanics, graphical additions, and story or lore. Each Update will consist of an image to represent the additions to the game, a change log of the additions, and a link to the latest build (Which is currently going to be hosted on Google drive).
We begin with a tremendously simple looking character. What is the first thing that should be added/altered to this environment? Name the character? Name the game? Zoom in the camera? Add movement? Any suggestion is greatly appreciated and will be added as soon as possible.
Latest Build: Version 0Change log: - First build, contains nothing but a sprite of the player character, and the camera facing them.

Give the Sprite fixed movement DIRECTIONS for fixed DURATIONS but give the user the ability to adjust the SPEED The player now has the ability to move! Arrow keys move the character in the respective directions, and an additional feature is the speed system, press 1 for slow speed 2 for medium and 3 for fast. Friend added! They currently have no functions and they look similar to the player, save for their bandana. Both the player and the friend are unnamed right now. Add grass, dirt and rock terrain tiles. Grass, dirt, and stone tiles added. They all function the same, but maybe some tiles may prevent movement in the future.

Insert THREADSTUCK as a part of the lore. Represent player health with a HEART icon. Add SHALLOW WATER tiles that slow you down, DEEP WATER tiles you can't go in as of now, and SHORE TILES that function normally. Give FRIEND a walking routine. Something simple, like walking back and forth between the shore tiles and their current position at speed 2.

Horses are rideable. Riding a horse lets speed go up to 5.

Player health is now added! The default value is 3. Insert THREADSTUCK as a part of the lore. Represent player health with a HEART icon. That is to say, it is now intended to take place in the world of a ThreadStuck story. As a result, characters from previous stories will now be accessible! A little vague, but we can start by adding mana points, and thinking up different spells- Magically remove magic before it gets added Magic is magically removed before it was even created. Pressing the space button while having at least 1 pineapple in your inventory will let you drop an explosive pineapple, creating a 3x3 explosion, only dealing one damage to the player. > Give the main character long purple hair. There is now a shore line, a horse, a pineapple, and FRIEND is away from where he began. I also tried to add textures to the tiles. Emphasis on tried. Pineapples can be picked up and placed elsewhere, and after 3 seconds... They explode! Horses can be mounted simply by walking into them. They add 2 'gears' to speed: 4 and 5.

Add MEDIUM THIN WALLS that can be broken by EXPLODING PINEAPPLES. Put a HEART behind one such wall so you can regain some HEALTH. Add DESCRIPTION to FRIEND that can be viewed by pressing the INTERACT button when near to them. "Your FRIEND wants to dip into the water but he's scared because he CAN'T SWIM. Neither can you."

Lock the screen size to a set number, probably something square and smaller than your screen. Set the aspect ratio as well.
It looks like you are using the physics system, thus you should use .addforce rather than .velocity

Friend is clearly an Asher Prime, considering whether or not to uphold the legacy of "death by throne". Let's make it a little easier for him. Add the throne.

Add basic combat, player starts with a punch attack that deals 1 Damage to the enemy in front of them. Upgrades of assume sort will be implemented later.
Implement potted plants, 1 health enemies unable to attack or move. Implement tumbleweeds, 1 health enemies unable to move. Implement rakes, 1 health enemies that can't move and have a 1 damage attack activated by stepping on them. Implement goombas, 1 health enemies that move at speed 1, and attack the player for 1 damage if the player gets in the way of their pathing.
