Add MEDIUM THIN WALLS that can be broken by EXPLODING PINEAPPLES. Put a HEART behind one such wall so you can regain some HEALTH. Add DESCRIPTION to FRIEND that can be viewed by pressing the INTERACT button when near to them. "Your FRIEND wants to dip into the water but he's scared because he CAN'T SWIM. Neither can you." Walls are added and can be broken by explosions. A small structure consisting of these walls were also added, inside the structure is a heart that can be picked up for one point of health. Player can now interact with the friend, resulting in a message at the bottom of the screen. Lock the screen size to a set number, probably something square and smaller than your screen. Set the aspect ratio as well. It looks like you are using the physics system, thus you should use .addforce rather than .velocity I think I got the screen size and aspect ratio set, but I can't really tell. .addforce, however worked like a charm, and I appreciate some coding advice amidst regular game things. A crummy inventory UI is added. Pressing the 'I' key will let users see their current inventory, which only counts items that can be picked up, such as pineapples. Friend is clearly an Asher Prime, considering whether or not to uphold the legacy of "death by throne". Let's make it a little easier for him. Add the throne. Friend was Asher Prime all along, and removes is headband and dons his crown and tap shoes. Almost out of nowhere a throne appears. >Add explosive cueballs, upgraded versions of explosive pineapples. Cueballs are added as a item that can be picked up and thrown, exploding at the same rate as pineapples, cueballs have the advantage of range. Cueballs will appear in the inventory. Add basic combat, player starts with a punch attack that deals 1 Damage to the enemy in front of them. Upgrades of assume sort will be implemented later. Implement potted plants, 1 health enemies unable to attack or move. Implement tumbleweeds, 1 health enemies unable to move. Implement rakes, 1 health enemies that can't move and have a 1 damage attack activated by stepping on them. Implement goombas, 1 health enemies that move at speed 1, and attack the player for 1 damage if the player gets in the way of their pathing. Basic combat added. Player attacks in a different direction depending on which way they are facing. It has low range and deals only one damage. Enemies also added, the goombers (a copyright free version of goombas) has a simple movement AI similar to Asher Prime's walk cycle. > Implement monetary system. > Make the currency consist of different colored pearls, like turquoise, lavender, and silver maybe. The color denotes the value. > Name currency "opal(s)" for no real reason Currency added. Similar to rupees in Zelda, opals appear on the ui at the bottom of the screen, next to a counter. Each color has different value with white being worth one and- >denote currency values: Brown: 1 reddish brown: 2 red: 3 orange: 5 Yellow: 10 green: 20 lime: 30 cyan: 50 turqoise: 75 blue: 100 dark blue: 150 violet: 200 purple: 250 pink: 400 magenta: 500 Allow somebody else to rearrange the color list but only if they keep all colors currently in the list (although values associated with each color can be kept) >instate "gems" which are high-end value opals, they are larger and can have multiple colors or a metallic sheen tin: 1000 copper: 1500 bronze: 2500 silver: 4000 gold: 7500 platinum: 10000 mithril: 25000 adamantium: 50000 greyscale: 100000 rainbow: 500000 -oh. That looks like a lot of opals. >Create miniboss that has huge horns, sloughing red skin, and a disproportionately small hat Added, this boss can be found by destroying the throne. His main motif is fire and explosions. He's alot easier to fight than he looks. After defeat, he drops the current highest value of Opal. > Simplify currency system to only have like, 3-5 color values. They are all pretty pastel colors. Since there aren't that many mobs, we can start with 4 opals and work our way up. >Reject simplification of currency system. These are all the different kinds you can pick up after beating monsters or while exploring. Obviously your monetary value will be displayed in static numbers, similar to how you can find Rupees of different value in LoZ, but it doesn't matter what color they were once you picked them up. Or we can create all the Opals we could ever want now. Either way, they function exactly like Rupees in Zelda. >Add Pacman as primary antagonist who wants to steal all the fruit. Added the the lore, he is now the one to be known as the final boss. So we probably won't see him for a while. >Reject the rejection of currency simplification Okay, there are currently 4 Opals. White: 1. Green: 5. Pink: 10. Saphire: 50 You guys are no fun. Add paintman as secondary antagonist who wishes to implement an evil scheme that will over complicate the world's money system, somehow eventually resulting in him owning everything. Similar to Pacman, Paintman is now part of the lore, as a secondary villian. His schemes involve changing with the money system, possibly resulting in the game to view currency differently depending on his influence. Chatting with our FRIEND, Asher Prime. Punching, while doesn't look like much, creates an effect that can show the hit box of the punch. Further upgrades to the combat system may include damage and distance modifiers. Opals are dropped by different enemies. The value of an Opal is intended to be related to the difficulty of an enemy. The mini boss, whom I've named Malblos for some reason, has the ability to create explosions and fire balls, dealing direct damage.
Change Log: - Added MEDUIM THIN WALLS. Can be broken by explosions, or by MANLY FISTS.
- Added Heart Pickup. Adding 1 health to the player.
- Added interact button 'Z' to talk to FRIEND and interact with other objects.

- Added Tumbleweed. 1 Health, 0 damage, drops white Opal.

- White Opals: 1.

Oops I made a mistake, tumbleweeds should be able to move, and if we ever add more regions to the world, or even just expand the world map, they would spawn randomly in deserts and move across the screen in a straight line until coming into contact with something, at which point they move up or down a tile and keep going. If neither moving up nor down one tile will let them continue moving, they will instead spawn a dead bush on the tile it died on, an enemy with the same stats as the potted plants aside from absorbing any incoming tumbleweeds.
Add inventory and equipment system, such that items can be picked up and equipment equipped. Add "stick" as a rare drop from tumbleweeds. It can be equipped in the weapon slot to give a 1 damage boost. Admittedly this is useless against everything but the miniboss so far, but still.
Decrease money values of all enemies bar miniboss and goombers to 0, goombers are now worth 1.

Add cherry that changes your bomb explosions into Bomberman style. After selecting the Cherry in your inventory menu, press 'C' to drop it. It will create an explosion that is in a plus pattern. Throne can be sat in. Friend has a small chance of sitting in throne. If friend sits in throne, he dies. Here, Asher Prime is on his way to the throne. Interacting with the throne will allow you to sit on it. It can be equipped in the weapon slot to give a 1 damage boost. Admittedly this is useless against everything but the miniboss so far, but still. Decrease money values of all enemies bar miniboss and goombers to 0, goombers are now worth 1. Tumbleweeds now have a random spawn pattern, and move from the top to the bottom of the screen. Pressing up or down while the inventory UI is up will allow you to switch between items. Pressing left or right let you switch between weapons. The stick is a usable weapon that deals one more damage than just punching. > Add DESERT SHADES. FOR SOME REASON, they repel the TUMBLEWEEDS that spawn in the desert and can be acquired with either 6120 Opals or via an alternative method that we'll implement later. Desert Shades are added, but since there are no stores right now, they cannot be obtained yet. Regardless, they make the player look badass, and deflect tumbleweeds as far as possible. >Have minibosses drop amazing loot. Like, a Holy Shield, a Blood-Stained Bloodlance, or a Disproportionately Small Hat Upon death, Malblos drops his small hat, which can be worn. Currently has no greater purpose.
Change Log:- Added Cherries. Explode in a + shape.
- Throne can be sat in. Asher Prime can sit in throne, resulting in his death.
- Let tumbleweeds move, and rarely drop sticks.
- Added Item and Weapon selection.
- Added Stick, weapon that deals 2 damage.
- Added Desert Shades. Deflect tumbleweeds. Unobtainable for now.
- Malblos now drops tiny hat. Serves no real purpose. For now.

Double length and height of map (one extra 'screen' right and up, complete the corner)
The upper screen should show the top of the building and have a couple of trees (currently do nothing but obstruct your movement) but otherwise just be continuing the terrain shown here (aside from the dirt road not being present) Screen 1 to the right should continue the dirt road from the right screen off the leftmost edge, features to be added by other players. Screen 1 right and 1 up should be empty grass with a few scattered trees. Again, features to be added after this post.
Also, those zips... are they actual, runnable game versions? Oh my gosh, they actually are! That is so cool, we're actually coming up with ideas for the game, that is SO COOL. This game just got 10 times cooler after this discovery, once we get the gameplay all the way done it'll be fun to just look at and play this.
You have my respect forbidden. You have my respect.
