You could use your torch, which will last for 10 panels before becoming unusable, or you could cast Magic missile, witch generates light, but may alert nearby enemies to your presence and costs 5 mana points. What do you do?

If you use your torch can you then put it out to get 9 panels out of it later? Am I detecting some Rogue Legacy influence in the concept?

Kane will you update more? Sorry. At the moment, forumstuck, school, and a whole bunch of other stuff has me pretty busy. This mainly exists as a thing to do when everything else is done.
