Duff: Examine safe.
The safe has a ten number keypad with four spaces to enter numbers. Too bad you don't know what any of the numbers could be.
Duff: Use key on cell door.
The keyhole is on the other side! Why would there be a keyhole on the inside of a cell?
Duff: Exposit current situation to no one in particular.
You take a moment to think about what's currently happening. You have no recollection of what happened before today, let alone why you're in a cell. There is a safe that was hidden behind a fake brick. There is a table that holds a small knife and previously a key. There is no obvious way to open this door that you can see. on the other side of the room there is a barred window.

Duff: Break off a table leg and use it to pry open the window.
The window pops open!
Duff: JAILBREAK, GO!
You enter a room with a different aesthetic. The window has closed behind you. There is a sign in the center of the room, a large button on one side, a rock on the other, as well as a door with no doorknob.
The sign in the center reads as follows: "So it seems you have completed your first challenge, Player 1. Excellent work. Assuming you haven't already, it's time you learn to harmonize with your element, Earth."
