In Homestuck it doesn't matter that everyone dies because their ghosts continue to be characters, several main characters died multiple times and are still alive in the main timeline. Also Homestuck is a comedy webcomic that doesn't take itself very seriously at all. It's a pretty different tone.
In Homestuck it's a running joke. It would be difficult to say that there are any "running jokes" at all in GoT :V

Homestuck is overratNah, I'm just kidding. Homestuck is the best. Kids are annoying and having them is overrated. There are way too many people already and there are barely any places to someone to grow up. I don't want to have one either. Maybe in an other country. Oh, and AoT and GoT sucks. I mean GoT is a quality show, I get it but the pointless main character killing is dumb. And all the serial killer glorifying shows can go and ... themselves too (Dexter and Hannibal) Um, this is kinda late, but... how is Homestuck ANY different from Game of Thrones in terms of pointless main character killing? It's practically a running joke in Homestuck that everyone dies. Well, at least Homestuck isn't chock-full of unnecessary anal. It's so cringeworthy that I actually have to skip forwards when the anal scenes come on, and practically ALL sex scenes are anal, or at least seem like they're anal. Makes it even worse when I'm watching with my sisters.

Not that the books aren't already much like that, but the show takes it up another notch, which combined with the difference in medium, really puts a point on it. Unpopular Opinion: I actually miss HMs in Pokemon Sun and Moon.

They've replaced HMs (and a couple of key items like the item finder and bike) with special Ride Pokemon who don't take up a slot in your party but can't be used to battle either. It's handled pretty neatly, but since having an HM Pokemon was one of the few difficult limitations put on the player, it feels to me like another step towards making the already incredibly easy games easier.

I really dislike cats. I think they're mean and obnoxious but my partner just HAD to have one, despite my allergies.

I used to love Ava's Demon but after reading again in published form I'm honestly not really a fan of it anymore. For one, the pacing is awful. We don't get to know anything about Ava's home planet before she leaves it since the action happens far too quickly. I'm also not a huge fan of the characters at all except for Ava and Odin. I adore Ava to bits and I can relate a lot to her and Odin is really interesting and unpredictable, but that's basically it. Gill, Nevy, Pedri, Tuls and Wrathia are really predictable, one dimensional and boring (wrathia also being the author's wet dream it seems) and Maggie is basically a poorly written Vriska. The rest of the cast are flat out annoying and I want them gone. It's also been quite a few years since the webcomic has started and it still feels like nothing has happened. The author also generally rubs me the wrong way and I don't think she deals with her fans very well, but that's just me.
Gen 4 of Pokemon has always been one of my least favourite games. A lot of people love sinnoh, but I never really cared about gen 4 even though Diamond was my first pokemon game.
I also really like gen 5 and it still annoys me how people brush this gen off and hate it because of the graphics when battling and how only gen 5 pokemon appeared in B/W. The story was really great and the characters all had a purpose. I'm happy that SM brought the good storytelling back and had really good characters (Lillie and Gladion are honestly my favourite Pokemon characters), but I'm still salty that B/W won't get accepted into the fanbase for stupid reasons.
I'm not a fan of dogs. There are some breeds I like but I'm overall I prefer cats.
Fake strawberry in dairy (strawberry milk in particular) is the worse flavour in existence and even the smell of it is terrible.
It annoys me when people who haven't read homestuck see it in a negative light because of the fanbase. Same with Steven Universe and Undertale for that matter. I get that the fanbase, especially over at tumblr, is bad, but that doesn't mean that the source itself shouldn't be hated on. HS, SU and Undertale are all really great works of fiction and deserve to get a look in.
On the topic of Undertale, it annoys me how Asriel and his general story never gets a look in and all the fanbase focuses on is the skeleton bros. Like, I do get why the skeleton bros are so popular and Sans is my favourite character, but to me Asriel is just as interesting as Sans with being Flowey and all. So I wish that he got a look in with comic writers and animators more.
I also don't like any of the Undertale AUSs. One thing that annoys me about Underswap is that Sans and Papyrus in that AU don't match the personality of their Undertale counterparts. The only AU I'd be interested in reading/watching/whatever is an UnderStuck AU, and I'm actually very surprised that there isn't one (like, there's crossovers but not a proper AU).considering the author's link to Homestuck you'd expect this to be a popular one but apparently not.... which is sad since I'm down for watching the Undertale cast play sburb.
(I don't think anything i say about Asriel is considered spoilers now since it's been a year?)

Though I guess those who actually do hate things because of their fandom would disagree, so maybe it is unpopular? Err, about that. I still have yet to play Undertale and you spoilerd that for me... That said, it's probably more my fault for not stopping reading once I saw it was about Undertale, and I've already been spoilered on the fact that Flowey is the main villain which is probably an even bigger spoiler, so don't feel too bad.

The fact that Flowey is a villain is something you are told maybe 30-50 seconds after the game proper begins, so that one isn't much of a spoiler

I remember when that was the popular opinion and I was one of the only people who liked Gen IV. I actually like SOS Battles in Sun/Moon, though it might be just because I'm a Shiny Hunter.

I remember when that was the popular opinion and I was one of the only people who liked Gen IV. I actually like SOS Battles in Sun/Moon, though it might be just because I'm a Shiny Hunter. I've noticed a pattern that the game that's next up for getting remade is the one that's popular, then becomes hated once that remake is out the way (with the exception of HG/SS). Gen 3 was really well-liked and popular before the remakes came, and now all I see is gen 3 hate and gen 4 being hyped. If this trend continues I can't wait until Unova are next in line lol. If any gen needs more love it's gen 5. Sinnoh isn't actually my most hated though; that spot goes to Kanto (and Sinnoh is better than Kalos too). As someone who didn't start with gen 1 and has played all Kanto games without problems with nostalgia, it's honestly the worse. Gen 1 especially is unplayable to me and its mechanics are extremely annoying. G/S are a massive improvement and HG/SS were amazing games and deserve so much more recognition in comparison. And as for S/M, they could have been my favourite pokemon games. But the fact that there's no national pokedex and hardly anything post-game just ruins it for me. I really hoping that there's a third version or a sequel that will fix these issues. I also didn't like the Kanto pandering which has been going on since gen 6. I'm actually fearing that there will be yet another gen 1 remake since a lot of fans just will not let that gen freaking go.

Since we are on the topic of Pokemon, I'll say that I prefer Shiny Breeding to Shiny Hunting. Sure, you can get a shiny just catching them, but it can have abysmal stats. I love breeding them because then I can make any shiny and get the perfect stats to validate its position in my team. Plus it's oh so very rewarding to breed llines of Pokemon for sometimes hours and then get one of your favorites without continuously entering battles for a sliver of hope to catch a shiny. I haven't played S/M yet but I'll probably play it by next week, and sure, I'll use the S.O.S battles but I'm still gonna breed for them.

I prefer the SOS method more. Maybe if there was a place in Sun/Moon that loops, I could probably get a few rubber bands and just do stuff while I hatch eggs, but I'll save some of the Pokemon I'll need to breed for Shinies later.

Marshmallows suck and I hate them.
I don't thing Ocarina of Time is as good as others think it is. It's a great game, but best game of all time? No way. There are a ton of flaws that people rarely address, like the unbalanced Rupee system, the warp system and the Big Poe side quest.

I think taking Pokemon games seriously (like playing competitively) and playing them for fun are both okay. I don't know why people have issues with how the other plays the game. And since I play both competitively, mostly on Pokemon Showdown, and I play for fun at times (excluding Shiny Hunting if that counts as casual play), I'm on the fence between the two. But from what I've seen from some folks, you play either one way or the other.

Dang it! We've been caught red-handed.
Brand deals and sponsorships get a bad rep in the YouTubing world. Unless the brand deal is for a company that's crappy, I can't blame YouTubers for accepting those deals, because they make most of their money from them.
Also, people who crap all over Hussie for "outsourcing" some of the work for the comic to other artists is disheartening because not only does that allow for him to spend more time on things like Hiveswap, but it allows smaller artists to get the spotlight. I don't get why people got angry when other art was featured in HS.
